We Found Out What Happens After You Catch Every Pokmon

Nick Johnson is the first person to announce he has collected every Pokémon in the popular mobile game Pokémon Go. That is, all 142 virtual monsters that users have confirmed seeing in the wild of North America.

So now what?

Off on an international trip to catch the Pokémon elsewhere in the world underwritten by an international travel company.

Using GPS and augmented reality, the game developed by Niantic Labs invites players to catch the colorful Pokémon monsters best known from Nintendo games and trading cards of the 1990s. In the game, the monsters appear on real-life sidewalks and park benches when a player has the app open a scenario that’s encouraged a mass public-walking binge by millions.

“I feel great,” Johnson said. “I was getting a lot of rest and exercise and meeting new people. Im a lot healthier I think I lost about 8-10 pounds.”

Launched in early July, the hardcore users are now looking for the rare Pokémon.

Mr. Mime, Farfetch’d and Kangaskhan are reportedly only available in the wild in Europe, Asia and Australiasia, respectively. However, it is rumored these Pokemon can be hatched from rare eggs in North America that users can pick up at PokeStops.

“Ive talked to dozens and dozens of people who have hatched 100’s of eggs and no one can hatch or catch them as far as I know,” Johnson said.

He owes his new fame to plain old shoe leather.

What Does This Calculate

New Pokemon Go Update 0.107.1 Available Now, Here are the Changes

This calculator simply attempts to calculate the IVs for your Pokémon based on the information available.

As multiple IVs can give the same CP and HP values for a Pokémon, sometimes the range given can be quite large.

For example, the Eevee pictured to the right, this could either be a great Pokémon with almost full IVs, or it could be a fairly useless29% Eevee.

Pokemon Go: Best Fairy

Fairy-type Pokemon, unfortunately, don’t seem to enjoy the same glittering stature as they do in the main series. This might be due to Pokemon GO’s combination of physical and special stats into one single stat, as Fairy-types typically excel in Special Attack and Special Defense and have very poor physical Attack. Regardless, they’ll have some good use against the types that Fairy typically takes down, those being Dark, Fighting, and most notably, Dragon. But, often there are better choices against those types.

Without question, your best bet for a Fairy-type is going to be Gardevoir. Its Shadow version is easily the best Fairy-type, though Togekiss outpaces it in overall TDO. Non-Shadow Gardevoir is also fantastic, ranking as one of the best Fairy-types just behind Togekiss, Xerneas, and its own Shadow variant. The fact that Xerneas doesn’t have access to a Fairy-type fast move puts Gardevoir ahead in that respect, though. Once Mega Gardevoir is added to the game, it’ll be even better, though still sitting behind Togekiss’ TDO . As a generalist, you’ll want Charm + Dazzling Gleam, but Gardevoir’s Psychic-type moveset of Confusion + Psychic will do better against Fighting-types.

Pokemon Go: Best Flying

There are a ton of good Flying-types in Pokemon GO, thanks in part to the abundance of Flying-type Legendaries. As one of the few counters to the ever-dominant Fighting-types, and a double resistance to Ground, Flying-types can make great all-rounders, too.

Without competition, Shadow Moltres takes the top spot here. It’s not just the best Flying-type, it’s also just one of the best Pokemon in the game in general. With 19.87 in DPS and 856.19 in TDO, this Pokemon is a terror in the skies. It’s outclassed by Shadow Dragonite, Shadow Zapdos, and Mega Charizard Y, but none of them have a full Flying-type moveset, and Sh. Moltres does, which launches it over their heads.

Inching ahead of Shadow Moltres in DPS but not TDO is Mega Pidgeot, which might not be as powerful, but doesn’t have a double weakness to Rock and isn’t locked behind GO Rocket event exclusivity. Additionally, M-Pidgeot is one of the cheapest Mega Evolutions in the game, both in terms of Mega Energy requirements, but also evolution candy costs. One more bonus is that it boosts other Flying- and Normal-types in raids when it’s on the field. So, while Sh. Moltres might be more powerful, you can get more mileage out of M-Pidgeot in many instances.

Join A Team And Battle

At a certain point in the game, you’ll be asked to join one of three teams. Once you join a team, you’ll gainthe ability to assign your Pokémon to open Gym locations or to a Gym where ateammate has already assigned a Pokémon. Each player can place only one Pokémonper Gym, so you’ll need to work together with other members of your team tobuild up a strong defense. Like PokéStops, Gyms can be found at real-worldlocations.

If a rival team has claimed a Gym,you can challenge it by using your Pokémon to battle the Pokémon defending theGym. You choose which of your Pokémon will join in the battle. Each Pokémon hastwo kinds of attacks, and can also dodge the defending Pokémon’s attacks if youswipe left or right. If your Pokémon win the battle, the motivation of thedefending Pokémon is reduced. When the motivation of each defending Pokémondrops to zero, the defending team loses control of the Gym, and you or anotherplayer can then take control of it by assigning a Pokémon to defend it.

Pokemon Go Pokedex Gen 8

Gen 8 is the most recent region to have Pokemon included in Pokemon Go, and its not much. There is a handful of Pokemon from Galar that are currently in the mobile game including some regional variants.

Like with Gen 7, well include the regional forms in a separate section of this part of the Pokedex, but Galar also introduced regional evolutions. These Pokemon will be included in the numbered list of Galar-region Pokemon.

Well also only include the Pokemon already introduced and will update this portion of the Pokedex as more Pokemon are introduced into Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go Complete Pokedex 2022 All Released And Missing Pokemon

Trainers, there are many Pokemon available to catch in Pokemon Go, but there are still many Pokemon that have not yet been released and are waiting for their Pokemon Go debut any moment.

Pokemon Go has several regions, each region having its own specific Pokemon. Each region has a different number of pokemon and for now, only Pokemon from Kanto and Johto regions are fully available in the game. In other regions, there are still Pokemon that have not been released, and we hope that the list of available Pokemon in Pokemon Go will increase every month.

At the moment, there are over 730 Pokemon available to catch in Pokemon Go. We are missing over 170 species from Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Hisui region, so hopefully, these numbers will change soon.

That said, lets take a look at the list of all released and missing Pokemon in Pokemon Go. Also, please have in mind that Stufful and Bewear are going to be available on April 23, 2022, as part of the Community Day event.

Don’t Miss: Where To Find Aerodactyl Pokemon Go

What Makes A Pokmon A Regional

As Niantic has released more Pokémon into the world for us to search for, some Pokémon have been harder to find due to being in specific areas of the globe, requiring dedicated trainers to travel to obtain these otherwise elusive Pokémon.

The announcement of a new generation of Pokémon naturally brings in new regionals to the forefront. Kalos has so far seen Klefki, Flabébé and Furfrou as regionals, with the latter as a new form changing mechanic, and so far Alola has brough us Comfey and the Oricorio styles.

Many of the regional Pokémon are regional based on rivalries. For example, Seviper and Zangoose share a long feud in the main series games, constantly battling and chasing each other. They are based on a snake and a mongoose, and in the real world the mongoose is a snakes predator. Mongoose will kill and eats snakes, and are immune to their venom.

Other regionals are regional because of the regions the main series games are based on. Klefki is from Kalos, which is thought to be based on France, so it became a French regional. Comfey is an Alola regional, which is based upon Hawaii, so Comfey is only found in Hawaii.

For others it is based on where the inspiration for the Pokémon may be found, like Tauros, Maractus, Sigilyth and Bouffalant. For others, it is simply because Niantic decided to make them regional and split the world into three, like the Lake Trio and the elemental monkeys.

With that being said, lets find out about the regional Pokémon in the game!

Pokemon Go: Best Water

Pokémon GO » IHCC News

If you’re in need of a good Water-type, you’re a bit spoiled with choice. There are plenty of great Water-types, as well as some great ones that aren’t even released yet. And, you can dominate without even needing a Shadow version or a Mega Evolution, as many Water-types measure up to the big fish in their vanilla forms.

The likes of Kingler, Feraligatr, and Kyogre need no special boost to sit with the upper echelons.

With Kyogre, you’re looking at a massive TDO of 919.04, and that’s before its signature move, Origin Pulse, is even in the game, OR its Primal Reversion, which will just be ridiculous when it arrives. Kyogre once ruled the seas before the release of Mega Evolution and Shadow Pokemon, but it still compares to them, and it’ll be back on top when its Primal Reversion is released.

Primarina has a few fringe benefits that are hard to ignore. For one thing, you can currently find its basic form with exceptional ease thanks to ongoing Alolan tomfoolery. There’s also the more obvious fact, which is Primarina’s dual typing. This is a double victory for the singer’s repertoire since it can reliably provide strong coverage as either a Water user or a Fairy user.

The absolute best of the best in the world of Water Pokemon are Mega Blastoise, Mega Gyarados, and Shadow Swampert.

Pokmon Go Evolution Chains

Like most Pokémon games, Pokémon GO allows Pokémon to evolve. However, rather than evolving by levelling up , evolution is achieved by collecting special Candy for each Pokémon.

Catching a Pokémon yields Candy named for the base form of that Pokémon – i.e. Bulbasaur Candy is awarded for catching a Bulbasaur, Ivysaur or Venusaur. First stage catches yield 3 Candy second stages yield 5 Candy and third stages yield 10 Candy. Transferring a Pokémon to Professor Willow gives an extra 1 Candy. Hatching Pokémon from eggs yields higher Candy amounts.

Below are the evolution charts for all Pokémon currently in the game data along with the amount of Candy required. Some evolutions require items or special conditions these are all noted where relevant.

How To Catch Legendaries And How To Unlock Legendary Raids In Pokmon Go

Ninatic finally unlocked Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go following Pokémon Go Fest. Summer 2017 saw Legendary birds Moltres, Articuno and Moltres come and go, with Legendary beasts Raikou, Entei, Suicune here for Autumn – and the start of a Gen 3 Legendary rollout over the winter, starting with Groudon.

Though they are similar to standard Raid Battles in many ways, there are several differences in both their appearance and capture:

  • Legendaries are only be available via Legendary Raids, the highest difficulty of Raid Battle – although they’re now beginning to reappear as Research Breakthrough Rewards for completing Field Research Quests, too.
  • While regular Raids appear at random, Legendary Raids appear for set periods of time. For example, in Autumn 2017, the Legendary beasts Raikou, Entei and Suicune rotated between regions each month. Before that, Legendary Birds debuted for one week at a time over summer 2017. You can read the current active Legendaries later in the article.
  • EX Raid Battles see certain elusive Legendaries, such as Mewtwo, require an EX Raid Pass invite before you can participate. To get an invite, you must beat a Raid Boss at that Gym before the EX Raid appears, as well as several other requirements discussed in our Raids article.

How to capture Legendary Pokémon

If that’s not clear enough, here’s a handy image, created by reddit user and Silph Road member Epimetheos:

What Is An Iv In Pokemon Go

All SHINY Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee

Each Pokemon has 3 separate IVs: these are hidden values between 0 and 15 for the Attack, Defense, and Stamina stats. These values determine how powerful a Pokemon will be at its maximum level.

Not all Pokémon are equal: two max-level Pokémon can have different IVs, resulting in one which will be more powerful then the others. For example, a level 40 Lapras can have a CP of between 2,229 and 2,603.

This means that in the worst case, you could end up with a Lapras which is only 85% as powerful as it could be!
