Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are 2018 remakes of the 1998 Game Boyrole-playing video gamePokémon Yellow. They were developed by Game Freak and jointly published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. Announced in May 2018, Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! were released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on 16 November 2018. The games are part of the seventh generation of the Pokémon video game series and are the first main series installments to be released for a home game console. They feature connectivity with the mobile game Pokémon Go and support an optional controller, the Poké Ball Plus.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! were first announced at a Japanese press conference in May 2018, with the intention for the games to bring in newcomers to the series as well as cater to old fans. They were also meant to appeal to a younger audience for this reason, the games incorporate elements from the anime, similarly to Pokémon Yellow. Zapdos hangs out atthe Power Plant, which can only be reached by using Sea Skim on Route 10 to reach the out-of-the-way facility. As anElectric- and Flying-type Pokémon, Zapdos is weak against Ice- and Rock-typemoves. Ground-type Pokémon wont take damage from the Legendary PokémonsElectric-type moves, but at the same time, remember that Zapdos isnt affectedby Ground-type moves.

Je nach Seltenheit oder Typ bewegt sich das Pokémon und erschwert den Pokéball-Wurf. Die Tierchen werden von einem Kreis umrandet, der binnen Millisekunden kleiner wird. Triffst Du mit dem Ball im kleinsten Kreis, erhöht sich die Fangwahrscheinlichkeit und es winken hohe EXP-Multiplikatoren. Für hohe EXP-Punkte können Spieler also selbst sorgen. Allerdings sorgt die Technik stellenweise für Frust. Die Genauigkeit der sonst sensiblen Joy-Cons lässt zu wünschen übrig. Oftmals wird der Wurf zwar registriert, die angegebene Richtung bleibt aber fehlerhaft. Dieses Phänomen lässt sich überwiegend bei beweglichen Zielen beobachten, bei denen die Würfe zur rechten oder linken TV-Seite erfolgen müssen. Im Gesamtpaket bringen sowohl das neue Fang-Feature als auch die lebendige Welt eine Reihe wünschenswerter Neuerungen mit sich.

Wir treten also immer noch gegen die Arenaleiter an, lassen im Schere-Stein-Papier-Prinzip Monster gegen Monster kämpfen und sammeln und trainieren Taschenmonster, um der oder die Allerbeste zu sein.

Hierbei haben wir die Wahl zwischen der Pikachu- und der Evoli-Edition, die bis auf unser Begleiterpokémon inhaltsgleich sind. Wir haben für unseren Test die Pikachu-Edition gespielt.

It has become clear that Meltan will only evolve into Melmetal in Pokémon GO. To evolve it, you will need 400 Meltan Candies.

Just as with the Candies you collect for other Pokémon, youâll be able to get Meltan Candies by doing things like catching Meltan, sending it to Professor Willow, or having Meltan travel around with you as your Buddy Pokémon.

The Mystery Box Holds The Key To Catching Meltan

We now know that Meltan appears in Pokémon GO. In order to catch Meltan, it is essential to have a Mystery Box, which can be received by sending Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

Sending Pokémon from Pokémon GO into one of the Nintendo Switch titles will get you certain items in the app, such as Candies for the species of Pokémon you sent. However, the first time you send a Pokémon, you’ll also be able to get a very special item: a Mystery Box!

The Mystery Box closes itself after it’s used once. The only way to open it again is to wait a set amount of time, and then send another Pokémon to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! You can also get a Mystery Box for sending Pokémon to a friend’s Nintendo Switch game, but you can only have one Mystery Box at a time!

Meltan will begin to appear once a Mystery Box is opened in Pokémon GO, but be carefulâthey’ll only appear for the player that opened the Mystery Box. Touch a Meltan you see on the field map, and then try to catch it with a Poké Ball!

Im Poké-Center ist jetzt sehr viel mehr Deko an den Wänden.

Außerdem gibt’s durch die neue Switch-Heimat natürlich auch spielerische Verbesserungen: Zum Beispiel können wir jetzt direkt mit unserem Begleiter-Pokémon interagieren, es kraulen, anstupsen oder mit Beeren füttern.

Für die Pikachu-Action gibt es wie im Vorgänger einen Extrapunkt im Menü, allerdings bürsten wir hier nicht – wie früher – einfach nur Pokémon, die nach einem Kampf ein bisschen staubig geworden sind, sondern kümmern uns wirklich um unseren Begleiter.

These are Master Trainers, dedicated Trainers that have devoted theirlives to training a particular species of Pokémon. Master Trainers can be foundanywhere, so youll want to retrace your steps through every route, tunnel, andbuilding to find them all.

Most MasterTrainers will challenge you to a one-on-one battle. The rest want you toimpress them with your training skills by showing them their favorite Pokémonwith an exceptionally high CP. Youll want to raise these Pokémon to Lv. 100and feed them ample Candy to get their stats high enough to win these MasterTrainers favor.

If you do go up againstMaster Trainers, the fight can be very difficult. The catch is that you canonly use their Pokémon of choice during the battle, and no items! Most of theirPokémon will be between Lv. 65 and Lv. 80, so make sure your Pokémon are atleast comparable. If you need to build up your team, head to Cerulean Cave andbuild up a large Catch Combo by catching multiple Chansey. It provides a ton ofExp. Points when caught, so its a great way to level up your Pokémon. Be sureto boost your Pokémons stats by feeding them Candy, as wellyour opponentshave done the same.

Professor Oak and Professor Willow have been steadily working on their research, propelled by the reports of Ditto transforming into Meltan in Pokémon GO. It looks like they’ve also realized that the Mystery Box is somehow tied to the appearance of Meltan!
