Limited 100% Lucky Trade
Other than trading with a Lucky Friend, there is another situation where a Lucky Trade is guaranteed, introduced as a promotion to get lapsed players back into the game. The requirement are quite strict:
- One of the Pokémon being traded must have been caught during July or August 2016
- The Trainer sending the guaranteed Lucky Pokémon must have been involved in fewer than 10 trades where at least one party was guaranteed.
- The Trainer receiving the Lucky Pokémon does not affect this trade, though it will increase their own count of guaranteed Lucky Trades.
- It is currently unknown if Lucky Trades from being Lucky Friends impact this count, but there have been reports that they do.

Okay I Have A Buddy Now What
Go for walks! No, really, now that you have a designated Buddy you should go on strolls. Similar to egg-hatching, you can gain Candy for your buddy the more kilometers you rack up. Interestingly, different Pokemon require you walk different distances. For example, you need to walk 3 kilometers before you get a Candy for Slowpoke. You only get one candy after walking that specific distance, though. You can find out more about your Buddy’s progress by tapping the Trainer profile icon, then tapping the top of the screen, where your Trainer and Buddy are hanging out. At the top of the screen you’ll see the total distance traveled. In the middle, you’ll see your Buddy . At the bottom, there’s a gauge that shows how far you still need to walk for a Candy.
Lucky Pokemon In Pokemon Go
Lucky Pokemon can be distinguished by the faint sparkle in their 3D model, but also from the shimmering portrait they possess in the Pokemon roster screen. They will also be updated in the players Pokedex alongside seen and caught Pokemon, making the number of Luckies trackable. Although obtaining them takes a few steps, they are very much worth the investment, especially at higher trainer levels, where Stardust management becomes more vital.
Lucky Pokemon in Pokemon GO are available via the games trade feature. Every time two Pokemon are traded, there is a chance that either of them will become Lucky. In addition, the older the Pokemon is, the more likely it is to be converted to the coveted Lucky status. So if players have leftover Pokemon from years like 2016 or 2017, theres a very good chance for it to become Lucky in a trade. If the player in particular has found less than 10 Luckies throughout their tenure, a Pokemon from Pokemon GOs July/August 2016 beginnings is capable of having a 100% conversion rate after the trade. This is thanks to Niantics Summer 2018 update to offer more opportunities for trainers to bag a Lucky for themselves.

How Does Battling Work
Fighting in Pokemon Go is a bigger mess than Brock’s love life. You’re supposed to be able to swipe left and right to dodge the incoming attacks of opposing Pokemon. You can time the dodge by watching the opponent’s attack animation. If you have decent cell service, and a bit of luck, you should even be able to dodge special attacks. You’re also supposed to tap your opponent over and over to attack. Attacks’ effectiveness is based on the rock-paper-scissors system of strengths and weaknesses found in the core Pokemon games. That means fire is weak against water, grass is weak against fire, water is weak against grass. You can check what type your Pokemon is in its bio, or refer to this;handy-dandy chart. But, the Pokemon Go app’s performance issues turn fights into random kerfuffles. Your best bet is to have a ton of potions and revives at the ready in case you need to revive and heal fainted Pokemon, and just tap away, and tap and hold once in a while to unleash your Pokemon’s special attacks, which consumes some special meter .

How To Catch Pokemon
While there are a variety of things to do in Pokemon Go, including completing missions and battling against other players, your primary goal is to catch Pokemon. You can encounter wild Pokemon by completing Research tasks or in raid battles, but the most common place you’ll find them is right on the overworld map. You’ll see wild Pokemon periodically spawning around your avatar while the game is open, and tapping on one will begin an encounter.

Unlike classic Pokemon games, you don’t use your own Pokemon to battle and weaken wild monsters in Pokemon Go; instead, you simply throw a Poke Ball at them by swiping up on the screen. It’s a straightforward process, but there are a few ways to improve your chances of capturing the Pokemon.
Making skillful throws is one of those ways. As you hold down on your Poke Ball, you’ll see a ring closing in around the wild Pokemon. Throwing the Poke Ball within the ring will result in a “Nice,” “Great,” or “Excellent” throw, increasing your odds of catching the monster. The smaller the ring is, the better your throw will be if you hit it, resulting in a bigger catching advantage.
Feeding wild Pokemon berries makes them easier to catch.
What If You Don’t Have The Best Movesets In Pokmon Go
Since the introduction of the Raid Battle system in June 2017, you can get Technical Machines to change your movesets. Two of the possible rewards for beating Raid Bosses are Quick TM and Fast TM, which can be used to change Quick Moves and Charge Moves respectively. Regular TMs are completely random and cannot access Legacy Moves.
Legacy Moves are special moves that were once available for a Pokémon but are no longer. Sometimes they were removed when Niantic re-balanced the game. Some were only available on Community Day or in special Raids. Either way, if a Legacy Move happens to be the best possible move for a Pokémon and you don’t have it, you cannot get it with a normal TM. Before you use a TM on any Pokémon, you should always check to see if the move you’re changing is a Legacy Move and if that move is worth having. A lot of Legacy Moves don’t perform well, but some of them are the best moves in the game.
More recently, Niantic introduced Elite TMs. These TMs are rare, and often difficult to get or expensive, but allow you to choose from any move a Pokémon can have, including Legacy Moves. They aren’t random either. You get to choose the move. Because of how hard it is to get Elite TMs, you’ll want to save them for your very best Pokémon, but hey, now you can have a Mewtwo with Shadow Ball and Psystrike!

Can I Optimize Egg Hatching And What’s A Kilometer
While visiting Pokestops, you’ll probably pick up some eggs, from which Pokemon hatch. But first, you need to incubate them, and then walk around. To do that, go to your Pokemon collection, and in the upper-right you’ll see an Eggs tab. Tap that, choose an egg, then an incubator. Then you walk around and wait for the hatch. Here’s some advice: Don’t waste your time incubating the 2K eggs unless you really want more low-level Pokemon . The 5K eggs can net you some decent monsters, such as Cubone, Porygon, Machops, or Sandshrew. The 10K eggs get you more powerful, uncommon ones like Snorlax. How To Obtain Lucky Pokemon
For starters, to know if a Pokemon that you have is lucky or not, you can simply look at that Pokemons information page. If the Pokemon is displayed in front of a gold, sparkling background, then that Pokemon is considered lucky.
Obtaining a Lucky Pokemon is as simple as trading with a friend. However, just trading a Pokemon doesnt guarantee it will turn lucky. Trading a Pokemon with another player gives it a 5% chance of becoming lucky. There are other actions and circumstances that can increase this chance, however. The age of both Pokemon being traded plays a huge part in whether or not a Lucky Pokemon can be granted. This increase is maxed out at 3 years or older. This takes the chance from a small 5% to a much larger 20%.

How To Join Raids
Before you can participate in a raid, you need to have either a Raid Pass or a Remote Raid Pass. The former lets you join the raid while you’re physically at the gym, while the latter lets you join the battle remotely. There is, however, a slight disadvantage to this; players who join a raid remotely will deal less damage than those who are physically at the gym.
There are a few ways to get your hands on Raid Passes. You can receive a free one when you spin the photo disc at a Gym; however, you can only hold one free Raid Pass in your inventory at a time. Both types of Raid Pass are also on sale in Pokemon Go’s in-game shop. A single Raid Pass costs 100 PokeCoins, while a bundle of three Remote Raid Passes costs 250.

Pokmon Go Fast Tms And Charge Tms Explained
Introduced with the first Raids were TMs, special items that allow you to change your Pokémon’s moves – or more specifically “reroll” your Pokémon’s moves, seeing as it’s decided at random when you use one.
Using a TM on a Pokémon will randomly reselect one of its moves, with a Fast TM giving you a different fast move and a Charge TM a different Charge move. You’re guaranteed to get a different move each time you use a TM, but of course you can only get a move that said Pokémon can learn in the first place. You’re not going to get Hyper Beam on that Weedle any time soon .
How to get TMs in Pokémon Go
There’s just the one reliable way to earn TMs in Pokémon Go at the moment: raiding. Completing a raid, of any kind, will earn you a chance at being rewarded with Fast and Charge TMs. You don’t get many though, and you don’t get them very often at all, so use them wisely when you do.
There are other less reliable sources however, namely the occasional piece of Field Research and Special Research tasks that offer them as rewards, but if you want to reliably keep stocks high, raiding is the way to go.
We advise you save them for the most powerful Pokémon you have, that you’ll be using a lot, and that have very high IVs, too. That way you know they’re not going to be rendered obsolete when you catch a better version down the line!
What Are The Best Movesets To Change With Tms In Pokmon Go
If Raid Battles are your things and you want to beat the Raid Bosses, these are the Pokémon you want to use your TMs on and the Fast Moves and Charged Moves you want to get. They’re all single Fast TM or single Charged TM safe, which means you’re guaranteed to get something better than you have. While there are “best movesets” for every Pokémon out there, there are plenty of exceptions and special cases. We’ve got the best movesets here but you might find other movesets are useful too.
Note: before changing any move, double-check to make sure you do not have a Legacy Move. A Legacy Move is one that is no longer available in a Pokémon’s pool of Moves. Sometimes a Move is removed during an update, and sometimes it was only available for Community Day or Special Raids. While some Legacy Moves are less useful or even outright bad, some of them are outstanding, and some players collect Legacy Move Pokémon.
