How To Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go
Now for the “normal” method of evolving Sylveon in Pokemon Go. While other Eeveelutions require walking a certain distance and evolving at a specific time of the day, or using a themed lure module, Sylveon is all about friendship. Sylveon also arguably has the hardest method of evolution, because you need to set it as your buddy and earn 75 hearts with it.
This can be done by taking photos of Sylveon, playing with it, feeding it, spinning new Pokestops, all the usual rigmarole to earn hearts with a buddy. If you make your buddy excited you can earn a maximum of 20 hearts per day, so you can evolve an Eevee into Sylveon in four days. If you don’t get Eevee excited, it’ll take eight days, with 10 hearts per day.
In order to make a buddy excited each day, you need to keep doing activities with it. Everything on the list of activities in-game counts, along with opening gifts/souvenirs from your buddy, and when you’ve done enough, your buddy will be excited and you’ll earn double the amount of hearts for that day. To be more specific, you need a total of 32 points, and completing the full list will earn 14 points. So do each one three times and voila! One excited buddy.
That’s all there is to it! Sylveon is the final Eevee-lution in the world of Pokemon, so don’t expect any more additions to come to Pokemon Go.
Pve Defensive Moves Explanation
- Charm is substantially more powerful than Quick Attack, but at least the former offers off-type coverage.
- Psyshock is recommended for defense due to its coverage against Poison-type attackers, as well as its 3-bar move accessibility.
- Dazzling Gleam hits hardest and comes out frequently enough to be reliable.
- Moonblast takes too long to use, and Draining Kiss is weaker.
Pokemon Go Eeveelutions: Eevee Nicknames
The Pokemon GO Eevee nicknames work by renaming the Eevee you want to a specific name, then evolving it. This will force one of the eight evolutions. Beware though, because this trick only works once, so once you’ve used it, you can’t nickname an Eevee the same thing again. Here are all of the Eevee nicknames to acquire the specific evolutions:
Flareon: PyroGlaceon: ReaSylveon: Kira
Many wonder why these specific names have to be given to an Eevee to guarantee a certain evolution. Well, it’s all down to Pokemon lore.
When it comes to Sparky, Rainer, and Pyro, these are the names of the three elder Eevee brothers from the Pokemon anime, who show off their respective Eevelutions to Ash and the gang.
Sakura and Tamao also come from the Pokemon anime – when Ash meets the five Kimono sisters – Sakura with Espeon and Tamao with Umbreon.
As for Leafeon and Glaceon, their nicknames herald from trainers in the game Pokemon Sun and Moon. Linnea has Leafeon in her team and Rea has Glaceon.
Finally, Sylveon takes the name Kira from one of the Eevium Z trainers.
Don’t worry though the Eevee nickname method isn’t the only way of obtaining each of the Eeveelutions in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon Go: Heres The Naming Trick To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon
Finally, the Eeveelutions are complete. Sylveon is now available in Pokemon GO, giving us a cute little fairy fox option to sit alongside Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon and Glaceon. And just like with the other Eeveelutions, theres a simple naming trick.
The name youre looking for is Kira.
For those that dont know how this works, you want to grab yourself an Eevee and the 25 candies youll need to evolve it. Then, nickname your little foxish companion Kira, and you should see a silhouette appear underneath the standard evolve button. Tap that, and youre guaranteed to get a Sylveon.
The naming trick only works once for each Eeveelution, so theres another way for anyone looking to grab repeat Syvleons Youve got to get an Eevee as your buddy, and then accumulate 70 hearts with itenough for it to become a great buddy. After that, the option should appear to evolve an additional Sylveon.
And there you have it! If youve been keeping up with this, you now have a complete collection of Eeevelutions, all of which are relatively cheap and easy to obtain, with a high attack stat that makes them pretty useful when it comes to rounding out teams. My Kira is now nearly 3000 CP without even using any XL candy, so that should be handy wherever fairies are needed.

Pokemon Go Sylveon Evolution Method Gets Easier This Weekend
It will be much easier to evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokemon GO this weekend as the Eevee Community Day weekend will ease the evolution method for this Eeveelution. Between August 13-16, 2021, the heart requirement to evolve the character will be drastically reduced. As for the Eevees, they will only be more frequent during certain hours on August 14, 2021 and August 15, 2021.
Normally, the evolution method is to evolve Eevee into Sylveon into Pokemon GO requires you to earn hearts through Buddy interactions. You make an Eevee your buddy and do things like feed it, take a picture with it, fight it and visit new places together to win hearts. If you have a total of 70, you can evolve it. Between August 13-16, 2021 you only need a total of seven hearts.
But if you havent gotten one yet, theres another even simpler evolution method you can use to evolve Eevee into Sylveon into Pokemon GO. All Eeveelutions have a name trick in the game. If you give the character that name and then choose to evolve it, it will essentially be forced to evolve into that character rather than a mysterious character. If you name an Eevee Kira, the status screen will show Sylveons silhouette and you can evolve it into that character. This trick works once.

How To Get Sylveon In Pokmon Go Without The Name Trick
As stated, there are three ways how to get Sylveon in Pokémon Go in total. One of the ways, the famous name trick cheat, we have already analyzed and explained in the preceding paragraph, so it remains to explain the other two. The first method of obtaining Sylveon is via the regular evolution method, as shown in the game.
The regular evolution requirement for Eevee, i.e., having 25 Eevee Candy, remains here, but Sylveon has some additional requirements that have to be met in order to get Sylveon the regular way.
The second thing you have to do is make Eevee your Buddy Pokémon, a concept introduced in the game to earn Candy with a specific Pokémon quicker than usual. Your Buddy Eevee has to earn a total of 70 Hearts in order to evolve into Sylveon, which is a large number.
Why? Well, there are limits to how many hearts you can earn per day. The following lists all the Buddy Activities that can earn Affection hearts and EP. Activities in italics denote that the buddy must be walking in the overworld map to count towards points for Affection and Mood.
So, this is a very quick guide on how to earn as much Hearts per day as possible. Obtaining 70 of them is quite a process but if you want a Sylveon, youll have to work a bit.

What Do You Name Eevee To Get Sylveon In Pokmon Go
If you want to evolve Eevee in Pokémon Go quickly, the so-called name trick will do the job for you easily. The name trick in the game will guarantee a certain evolution for your Eevee, but only if you havent used it before namely, this interesting cheat works only once per account. The good thing is that you can use each name once, not just one of them, but you cannot use the trick more than once.
What you need to do is change the name of your Eevee to one of the following names and simply evolve it:
- Vaporeon: Rainer
- Glaceon: Rea
- Sylveon: Kira
As you can see, each eeveelution has its specific name, most of which are based either on the anime or the core video games. The names, of course, have a symbolic meaning and could be deduced even if you didnt know them beforehand. Sylveons name Kira is a reference to the Sun and Moon video games, where a character named Kira appears.
Kira is actually the granddaughter of the original Sylveon user, the old Sakura, who was a pure woman whom Fairy-type Pokémon cherished like a queen. She was a descendant of the Seafolk people, but, unbeknownst to Kagetora, she passed away a year ago.
In-game, the player can locate Kira, who takes care of the original Sylveon now, in the Seafolk Village, in the Steelix ship in the east. According to Kira, Sakura also tried to teach her about battling before she passed away. The player can fight Kira, though, in the game, and defeat her Sylveon.
