Where To Get The Shiny Baneful Fox Mask
The shiny version of the Baneful Fox mask is not tied to a quest or catching a certain number of Pokémon for your PokéDex. Instead, it will be available as a Mystery Gift, and all players can acquire this item by jumping into the game and grabbing it from their menu, so long as theyve connected to the internet. You can find the Mystery Gift item list in the Communications section of your in-game menu underneath the Lost & Found option.
Make sure you have the internet checked on when you attempt to grab the Mystery Gift. While online, you should receive the item as a gift, and you can wear the shiny version of the Baneful Fox mask.
The item will remain available in Arceus until May 31, 2023. From when it first arrived, all players have a little less than a full year to acquire this item and add it to their collection. Pokémon encountered during one-time events cannot be shiny, for that particular encounter. This means the starter Pokémon you choose at the start cannot be shiny. But if you encounter them in the wild later, they can be shiny.

If you have saved in the map when you first arrived, and then see a Shiny Pokemon, you should be able to safely reset your game if they run away or get knocked out. If you faint in the overworld the Shiny Pokemon will still be there! Pokemon spawns are determined upon entering a map, so reseting works.

How To Find Shiny Pokemon In Pokemon Legends: Arceus
The base shiny rate in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is one in 4096, the same as it’s been since Gen 6. This means that any given Pokemon spawn has around a 0.02 percent chance of being shiny. Shiny Pokemon are still therefore incredibly rare, but not as much as you might think. This game sees the return of overworld shinies from the Let’s Go games, meaning that a shiny Pokemon will appear shiny before you even enter an encounter with it, making it easier to spot a shiny when one spawns in.
Furthermore, PLA features an audio cue for a shiny spawn. It sounds similar to the “research completed” noise, and if you hear it the best thing to do is save your game and start looking for the shiny. Saving your game is another great quality of life feature in PLA – if you accidentally knock the shiny out, or it flees, you can simply load the save and it’ll be there again. Very little can make a shiny go away – you’re free to fast travel around the area or even get knocked out. Just don’t sleep or return to Jubilife.

Stock Up On Sticky Globs
Most massive mass outbreaks are located far from tall grass and special outbreaks spawn evolutions of the original Pokemon that will often attack you.
With a healthy stock of Sticky Globs, you can easily catch aggressive Pokemon even when they are out in the open. Simply evade their attack, stun them with the Sticky Glob, and back strike them with a Pokeball while they’re stunned.
How To Shiny Hunt For Specific Pokemon Fastest Method:
Step 1 When you leave Jubilife Village you can see what Pokemon are having a Mass Outbreak. If you would like to shiny hunt one of these Pokemon head to the location that the Pokemon is having the Outbreak in.
Step 2Turn off autosave and manually save at the Base Camp of whichever area you are in with the Outbreak you want to hunt. To turn off Autosave press the Up on the D-Pad and navigate with ZR to the Settings tab which is the final tab on the right. Scroll down to settings and select it. Then highlight the 6th option down which is Autosave and toggle it off using Right on the D-Pad. Once Disabled is selected press B to save the settings and exit the menu.
Step 3 Head to the location of the Outbreak and catch all of the Pokemon in the Outbreak. If a Shiny Pokemon doesnt appear in that group of Pokemon close out the game.
Step 4Reboot the game and the Outbreak should still be happening. Return to Jubilife Village and instantly leave. When you leave Jubilife Village the Outbreak should still be happening . Head back to the same location and manually save again at the Base Camp. If the Outbreak has ended reload the game and try this step again.
Step 5 Once you have manually saved at the Base Camp head back to the Outbreak and catch all of the Pokemon again. If there is still no shiny close out of the game again.
Step 8Repeat Steps 5 7 again and again until you come across the shiny.

Shiny Locked Pokmon In Pokmon Legends: Arceus
Shiny locked Pokémon refers to the Pokémon who’s shiny forms are impossible to obtain in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
All of the Pokémon you obtain through static encounters are shiny locked this includes the Alpha Pokémon you encounter as part of the main campaign, along with all the legendary and mythical Pokémon. If you do want a shiny legendary or mythical, like a shiny Cresselia, you’ll need to use hacks.
You can, however, obtain shiny forms of the starter Pokémon by hunting them down in Space-time Distortions. Meanwhile, if you want a shiny Unown, you first need to complete the Unown Research Notes by hunting down all 28 Unown locations across the Hisui region.
Once you’ve completed this task, visit the Solaceon Ruins in the Crimson Mirelands to find a collection of wild Unowns. If you’re lucky one might be shiny!
