It is possible to cheat in Pokémon Go, but some cheating can get you banned. In fact, the games developer Niantic is really cracking down on cheating.
Currently there are no maps which display the location and stats of all Pokémon, and there has been little to no progress from the hackers which had previously managed to reverse engineer the games API very quickly.
Plus, the in-game Pokémon tracker has been improved and prioritises Pokémon you havent yet caught and added to the Pokédex. This has made it much, much easier to catch regional Pokémon when youre travelling, so maps arent quite as essential now.
The tracker can still be improved, though, and its still an issue for rural players in particular.

Due to this, players had a very small window of opportunity to try and catch a Shiny Party Hat Nidorino and/or Gengar.
According to some reports of the events, most players were focused on catching Party Hat Gengars, making Shiny Party Hat Nidorino the rarer of the two special event Pokémon. Now, the only way to get a Shiny Party Hat Nidorino and Shiny Party Hat Gengar is through a trade and some enterprising players selling these Pokémon on eBay.
Do Shiny Pokmon Perform Differently In Pokmon Go
Nope. Shiny Pokémon have the same stats as non-Shiny variants. Which is to say, a range. You can catch a perfect Shiny Magikarp, but you can also catch a not-so-great one. They also have no special movesets or powers of any kind. Aside from looking different, they’re exactly the same.
However, Community Day is the easiest time to catch Shiny Pokémon. If evolved during the event window, Shiny Pokémon will get the exclusive move just like the normal featured Pokémon, so a lot of Shiny Pokémon do have that exclusive move.

Even if combat became central to Pokémon GO, the game still offers the ultimate Catch em All experience. There are six generations of Pokémon in the game already, and the recently added Galar page on the Pokédex is a clear indication that new critters will soon be released. So, it shouldnt take long before Pokémon GO becomes the only game in the franchise where you can fill your Pokédex without going through the hell of transferring creatures between different systems that all work in unique ways.
Also, Pokémon GO doesnt demand you to have both a Nintendo Switch and a Nintendo DS to complete your collection. All you need is a phone capable of running the game. As cellphone technology keeps improving, even cheap models can handle Pokémon GO pretty wellalthough Niantic really needs to double-check those data and energy consumption rates. Video games are expensive, especially in some parts of the globe since we all must have cellphones anyway, for other communication reasons, its great that we can actually play a Pokémon game legally without compromising our monthly pay.

How To Find Shiny Pokmon Such As Shiny Magikarp And Red Gyarados Pokmon Go
Shinies are found by simply trying to catch Pokémon and seeing if they display as an alternate colour in the battle and post-battle screens.
They won’t appear as a different colour in the field, so you have to attempt to catch them first.
They of course can also appear in anywhere you’d find a Pokémon, not just the wild – so that includes hatching Eggs, Research task rewards and Raid bonus challenges.
A Shiny creature is extremely rare, so it’s simply a case of checking every one you are looking for – such as Magikarp – in the hope it will be a different colour.
