How To Download Pokemon Go If You Used An Apk Before Release In Your Region
Some fans who just couldn’t wait for the game to release in their region opted to download an APK from a third party so they could get a jump start on catching them all. But if you were one of those fans, you may have gotten an unpleasant surprise when you went to download the actual game this morning.
For most fans who used an APK, the game is still not available on the Google Play store. Even after deleting the APK, they’ve been getting messages that it’s not yet available in their region — even though the game has been rolled out in pretty much every country. Fortunately, there’s a quick fix for this.
If you used an APK prior to the release of Pokemon GO, you need to clear the cache in your Google Play app before it will let you download it.
To do this, open the Settings menu on your Android device, and scroll down to Apps or Application Manager. You should see the Google Play Store listed here. Tap to open it, and you’ll see Storage listed near the top. Depending on your device, you’ll need to tap or long press the Storage option to bring up a new menu. In this menu, you should see the options to Clear Data and Clear Cache. Tap the Clear Cache option and wait for Google to wipe everything away.
Once you’ve done that, revisit the Google Play Store. You should see Pokemon GO available for download!
Pokmon Go Is Draining My Battery

- Open Pokémon GO and tap on Poké Ball to access the Settings. Tap Battery Saver.
- If you have any apps currently running in the background and you dont need them at the moment, close them.
- Turn off music, sound, and other effects. Also, turn the Vibration off.
- Turn On Power Saving Mode

Issue 4 Niantic’s Servers Issues
If you have confirmed the above, it is not the reason why you cannot log in to your account, then it is most likely a problem with the Niantic server. No game is perfect, maybe the game’s server is undergoing some erroneous repair work, which makes the account unable to log in, and system bugs are inevitable, which is also a very common situation.

How To Fix The Pokmon Go Stuck On Loading Screen Bug
There are a few reasons why trainers could be experiencing this problem. All of them, however, have to do with connecting to the gameâs servers from the applicationâs device. Essentially: the trainerâs phone is having a hard time communicating with the actual Pokemon GO servers.
First, trainers should make sure their connection to the internetâvia Wi-Fi, 5G, or otherwiseâis strong. They may want to reset the connection via disconnecting and reconnecting or potentially reset the entire internet connection through its router if possible.
Next, we recommend restarting the application. Simply force close it and reopen it again. We also recommend that trainers restart their phones, as well, if they have the time.
Finally, trainers should also make sure theyâre checking to make sure their application is up to date. This can be accomplished by locating its listing in their corresponding App Store.
If none of these options work, trainers can also contact their internet service provider about outages in their area.
This takes care of any possible weak links on the playerâs side. If the game is still stalling, it could be an issue on the developer side. Traditionally, developers such as Niantic Labs have a support channelâfor example, @NianticHelpâthat will broadcast any issues in connection.

Updating To The Latest Version Of Pokmon Go
If Pokémon Go is crashing or freezing consistently, you should check that youre running the most up-to-date version of the app. Newer versions may have fixes for the problems youre experiencing.
Follow the steps below to update Pokémon Go to the latest version.
How to update Pokémon Go
Pokmon Go Displays Gps Signal Not Found
Pokémon Go tracks your movement via GPS, so the app needs to have a connection to the GPS features in your smartphone so that it knows where you are.
Pokémon Go may sometimes briefly show a “GPS signal not found” message, before it makes that connection. However, if that message stays on then you’ll want to make sure that your location settings on your phone are turned on.
On Android devices, you can quickly swipe down from the top of your phone twice to access the quick settings menu. Here you should see an icon with ‘Location’ underneath it. Make sure it’s highlighted if it’s greyed out and has a line through it, that means your location settings are turned off.
You can also turn on location settings by opening up the Settings app, tap on ‘Location’ and make sure the toggle is set to ‘On’ and the mode is ‘High accuracy’.
You could also try an app such as GPS Booster, which helps increase GPS efficiency on Android devices.

Pokemon Go Stuck On Loading Screen Bug Explained
Trainers will know theyâre dealing with this issue with the progress bar at the bottom of the screen stalls and a button that reads âSign Outâ appears near it. There is no specific screen that holds a better or worse chance of this bug appearing, regardless of how complex the artwork is.
Typically, if the screen takes longer than 30-45 seconds to disappear, this means there could be a problem.
Trainers, we’re investigating the reports about an error while evolving Galarian Slowpoke, will update here once we hear more information. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, thanks for your understanding.

Pokmon Dont Look As If They Are Around You
If your device is powerful enough to run Pokemon GO but is missing some essential hardware, the game downgrades itself to allow you to play. For the full experience, your phone needs an internet connection, a GPS sensor and a compass. Without the compass and GPS sensor, you end up with a paired down version of the game that doesnt require you to look around a room and search for the creatures.

Pokmon Go Not Available On Your Phone Or Tablet
The demands to run Pokémon Go aren’t all that high, but there are a few things you’ll need to have in order to properly play. You’ll need a phone running at least Android 4.4. KitKat, and you’ll also need a mobile data connection as well as GPS services this isn’t an offline game in any way.
You can use Pokémon Go on a tablet, but if it’s a Wi-Fi only device and you’re trying to use it with a separate hotspot … it isn’t really worth your time. An LTE-enabled tablet will work just fine though! Devices with Intel processors also aren’t supported, which is a bummer but at least you know that going in.

Tip 4 Force Quit Pokmon Go App
In case you cant figure out why Pokémon Go crashes on iPhone, try closing the app and relaunching it. Force quitting the app will clear its cache and minor glitches. With iPhone that has a home button, press it twice to open the recent apps screen. With the iPhone without the home button, gently swipe your fingers in an upward motion from top to middle, and the recent apps will appear.

Pokmon Go Server Issues
Frequently, Pokemon GO suffers from huge server outages as millions try to log into the game at the same time. Before planning to go on the hunt for new creatures, go ahead and use the Pokemon GO Sever Status website to see if others are having problems. Again, this usually only happens to PTC accounts. If you sign in with Google you probably never deal with this. If so, try playing the game a little later or in a few hours.

I Keep Getting Kicked Out During Raids
Raids are a great part of the game, taking over Gyms and letting you battle as a team. This can also throw up a problem, when you can’t enter the Raid, or you find that you keep getting booted out. This can happen if it’s an easy battle and the enemy is defeated before you get in the arena, because your teammates are too good.
In this instance there’s nothing you can do – just wait for the next Pokemon to appear, or ask them to slow down so you can play a part yourself.
Fix 3 Clearing Pokemon Go Apps Cache
Like other apps, Pokemon Go also stores cache files on your device. If you have accumulated a large number of these files, it is a good idea to clear them and see if that resolves your problem. Clearing cache for any app on Android is fairly easy and you can do that as follows.
- Open Settings on your Android device, tap Apps & notifications, and select Pokemon Go.
Tap the Storage option and select Clear Cache.
- Open the game and see if the issue is gone.
