Where To Find Feebas In Pokmon Sword And Shield

How to get a Prism Scale – Pokemon Black and White

Before players can evolve Feebas, they must obtain one either by catching it from the wild or through trade. The Water-type appears on Route 2, one of the earliest routes in the game. But players wont be able to obtain Feebas unless they have the upgraded Rotom Bike after they defeat the sixth gym leader.

Once players have received the upgraded Rotom Bike, they can then bike out to the middle island thats located in the center of the pond near the Professor Magnolias house. From there, theyll see two fishing pools. Theyll need to fish to find Feebas, although the Pokémon is a rare encounter on the route and may take several tries.

How To Get A Prism Scale In Pokemon Sword And Shield

Before you can grab a Prism Scale, youll first need to acquire the ability to cross water using the Rotom Bicycle. Youll need to progress through the story until youve earned six badges by defeating Gym Leaders to do so theres more information on acquiring the Pokemon Sword and Shield Surf ability equivalent here.

Once youve done that, for a guaranteed Prism Scale travel to Route 2 and navigate to Professor Magnolias waterfront home. Head west of the house into the water until you reach an island to the northwest of this island you should see a sparkle in the water near another piece of land. This indicates that theres an item to pick up, which just so happens to be a Prism Scale.

Prism Scales can also appear as random spawns in the South Lake Miloch region of the Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Wild Area. Youll need to patrol the waters looking for glittery item spawns, though do keep in mind that these arent guaranteed.

How To Get The Prism Scale In Pokmon Sword And Shield

A useful item for anyone looking to evolve their Feebas into a Milotic in Pokémon Sword and Shield is the Prism Scale. Its a small item you need to give your Feebas and then trade that Pokémon with a friend to have it evolve into a Milotic. When it evolves, you can receive it again and add it to your collection.

To find the Prism Scale, you have a handful of options available to you. The first one is locating it on Route 2. However, you cant do it early. You need to wait until you receive the Rotom Bicycle upgrade to travel across water. When you have it, go back to Route 2 and go to the Professors house and proceed to the west of the home. Go across the water to the island. When youre there, go to the northwest, and you should see a distinct sparkle in the water near the other piece of land. Go to it, and pick up your first Prism Scale.

You have the chance to locate the Prism Scale in another location, the South Lake Miloch, inside of the Wild Area. You need to roam around the southern portion of the area, looking for similar glitters in the water. Its not a guaranteed drop, but if you consistently check back in the area, you should find it after a handful of rotations.

After you acquire the item, youre good to go, and you can freely trade your Feebas with a friend of yours who will trade it back to you. We do know where you need to go to find a Feebas, too.

All About Feebas In Sword And Shield

Most evolutions in Pokemon Sword and Shield are pretty straight forward, but sometimes it gets very complicated. Reaching a certain level may not be enough, as is the case for Feebas. This returning character from previous generations has always been known for its tough evolution requirements, and that continues in the latest releases. Heres how to evolve Feebas into Milotic in Pokemon Sword and Shield. But first, to evolve Feebas, you need to know where to find Feebas.

HOW TO GET PRISM SCALE IN BRICK BRONZE!!

Milotic can technically be caught in the wild, but it takes very specific conditions. On the Lake of Outrage and South Lake Miloch, Milotic will appear as a strong Pokémon whenever it’s foggy out. If you see fog in either of these locations, get on your Rotom Bike, and you should be able to find one. Milotic also can very rarely spawn for Max Raid Battles.

It’s best not to bank on either of these though if you have a friend you can trade with, but if you see a Milotic out there, it’s good to get it while you can.

Where Do I Capture Feebas

There is only one place in the game where you can capture a Feebas, and it’s going to require some patience . Once you have acquired the ability for your Rotom Bike to travel across water , return to Route 2 and head to the Professor’s house. On your left, there’s a big lake. Follow the shore to where you can enter the water on your bike, and get to the island in the middle.

One there, you should see two fishing spots. Feebas will spawn in either of these, and the spots respawn pretty quickly after you fish up something, so you can really just stand in one place. However, Feebas is pretty uncommon. You’ll be fishing up a lot of Magikarps and Chewtles while you work on that Feebas, but be patient. Once it shows up, it’s very easy to catch with an Ultra Ball or Lure Ball.

What Is The Easiest Way To Catch Feebas In Ruby

Start at the top of the river, and move back and forth as you make your way south. Make sure to stop at every tile possible. Fish each tile once. Feebas wont always show up the first time you fish a tile, but it is better to check many tiles once than a few tiles many times, and you will find Feebas faster this way. .

Where To Catch Feebas

Feebas can be found on Route 2, which trainers will pass early in-game. However, the island where Feebas can be fished is located in the middle of the lake, and trainers need to upgrade their bike on Route 9 to cross water before they can reach it. Once there, find a fishing spot which is a black circle with bubbles inside and press A to start fishing. Note that Feebas has a 1-percent chance to be encountered and will range from Level 37-40. Trainers should be prepared to fish for a while and bring an appropriate-level Pokemon, such as their starter Pokemon, once they reel in Feebas.

Where To Find The Prism Scale

As usual, the most important items in Sword and Shield are found in the Wild Area. This one is hidden in the waters of South Lake Miloch, which is in the south east portion of the map. Head there and hop on your bike to ride around in the water. Watch for the small sparkles that reveal a hidden item. Pick up enough of them and youll eventually find a Prism Scale. Mine was at the very bottom of the map, though it could be different for you. Just explore enough and youll get one.

And thats where to find and how to evolve Feebas in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Where To Find A Prism Scale

After catching Feebas, trainers won’t have to go very far to find a Prism Scale. In the northern part of the Route 2 lake, above the island, there is an occasional sparkle coming from the water. Trainers simply have to bike over to the sparkle then click A to inspect and receive their Prism Scale. Alternatively, trainers can acquire a Prism Scale from South Lake Miloch in the Wild Area through the same method of inspecting sparkles in the water. Be aware that there are other items hidden in the Wild Area, so finding a Prism Scale there might take more time.

Once Feebas is holding a Prism Scale, trainers only need to trade it twice: once to evolve into Milotic and again to trade it back to their game.

Pokemon Sword and Shield is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

Pokmon Sword And Shield: How To Find And Evolve Feebas

If you’ve never encountered a Feebas in a Pokémon game before, that’s not surprising. Feebas is not just rare, but it’s also incredibly useless as a battler before it’s had a chance to evolve. It’s unlikely you’ve run into one on your afternoon stroll through a route, and while you may have battled its evolution, very few if any people are tossing out a Feebas in competitive matches.

However, Feebas evolves into Milotic, which is a beautiful and popular water-type Pokémon that many people use. In most games, Milotic are not findable in the wild, and though they are in Sword and Shield, it’s almost certainly going to be easier to capture a Feebas and evolve it instead.

“Easier” being relatively, of course. It’s still going to take some time. Here’s everything you need to know about getting your hands on one of these elusive fish in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

How This Has Changed

Initially, Feebas could only evolve if it leveled up after maxing out its Beauty stat. This meant making the best blue Pokéblocks possible and hoping Feebas’ nature means it favors that kind. However, Generation V changes this, as there were no contests and the secondary stats associated with them were removed.

From here on, Feebas could be evolved using the current method of trading it while holding a Prism Scale. The original method returned for the Gen III remakes Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but it did so alongside the new method, meaning even a Feebas that hated blue Pokéblocks could evolve. This makes the evolutionary line unique, as it is the only one that can be evolved through multiple methods to obtain the same result in one game. While Feebas and Milotic are still among the rarest Water-type Pokémon around, they are much easier to obtain now than they were when they were introduced.
