Although there is a Pokemon Go friends limit. The Pokemon Go friends limit has been set at 200 friends, players cant add any more friends after they have reached that number. If they wish to add new friends, the players will have to first remove some friends after they have reached the 200 mark.
How To Invite Your Friend To A Raid In ‘pokemon Go’
Before you invite your friends to a raid, you have to find one to join first. If you don’t plan to physically go to any of the raids near you, you can look for ones nearby to join using a Remote Raid Pass. According to Niantic’s help page, to find a raid near you, you can tap the “Nearby” button in the bottom-right corner of your map view. Select the tab that says “Raid,” and select any of the nearby raids to join.
If you notice a raid happening at a gym on your map, you can also join it just by tapping the gym on your map. Just remember, joining a raid this way requires a Remote Raid Pass to enter, so make sure you have one on you before trying to join.;
To invite your friends, select the green icon above your party box; this will bring up your friends list, including those who are online at the moment. All you have to do is select their name to send the invite. You’ll be able to create a specific code for your raid lobby made up of three icons of Pokemon.
Your friend can then find the invite in their “Nearby” tab under “Raid.” Once they accept the invite, they’ll be added to your lobby, indicated by your specific three-icon code.
How To Add Pokemon Go Friends
To add a Pokemon Go trainer as your friend, their 12-digit Pokemon Go Trainer code or is required. To add a new friend, in Pokemon Go game, go to Friends section. Then select Add Friend and enter 12-digit Pokemon Go Friend Code. If you have the QR Code already, select QR Code and scan the Pokemon Go QR code with your camera. When you have Pokemon Go friend in your Pokemon Go friends list you can send or receive gifts with them, raid battle or even trade Pokemon.

There’s some big differences between trading in Pokemon Go and core games in the franchise. Firstly, you need to fulfil the following Pokemon Go trading criteria:
- Be level 10 or above
- Be friends on Pokemon Go with the person you’re trading with
- Be within 100 metres of them in real life
When you’ve fulfilled all three criteria, simply select the correct friend and tap on Trade. You can choose a Pokemon to trade with them, while they’ll send one back. But just like life, things aren’t quite that simple. How Many Friends Can You Have In Pokemon Go
The maximum number of friends in Pokemon Go is an important value, simply because each new friend can be someone who can help you with raids and another person to send you gifts for items and EXP each day.

To that end, the maximum number of friends was increased quite recently by Niantic for Pokemon Go, with the change announced on the Twitter account back in April.
So with the official source quoted below, this puts the maximum number of friends you can have on Pokemon Go at 400 in total.

To coincide with the launch of its referral feature, Pokémon Go has updated its Friend List system to allow players to add more friends and potentially get more rewards.;
Starting today, players will now be able to add 400 friends to their Friend List, double the previous 200 limit that players had been complaining about for months.

This is all part of Niantics move to try and get more active players involved in Pokémon Go and interacting with other active players.;
With the referral system, the bonuses apply to players who are joining the world of Pokémon Go for the first time or returning from an extended break. Specifically, referral codes will be applicable to all new players who have not played Pokémon Go before and any player that has been inactive for 90 days or more.
With the new 400 friend limit, players will be able to invite new players to reap the rewards of the referral system and continue interacting with any active players that are already playing too.;
Further updates could be coming too as Niantic continues to add more features to the game, but for now, only the friend limit upgrade has been confirmed.
How To Add Friends And Manage Friendship In Pokmon Go
Friendship is one of the biggest updates ever to hit Pokémon Go. With it, you can build relationships in the game world that grant you extra Premier Balls for Raids, attack bonuses for Gym battles, let you trade Pokémon, and even let you receive Gifts containing items and, just maybe, the all-new 7 KM Egg that contains Alolan Forms.

Invite Friends To Party
From the Lobby, you can invite friends by pressing the Y Button or the Blue Button on the left side of the screen or the + button next to the trainer. If they accept the request, they will be added to your party. You can then play matches together.
Random Match Will Fill Party Spaces
If you don’t have a full party, the game will match you with random players to fill the space. This ensures that no game will have missing or mismatching number of players.
How Does Pokemon Go Trading Work
As long as you’ve been friends with someone for a day, and have exchanged one gift, you can trade Pokemon with them. Every trade you do will cost you Stardust, although the exact cost depends on a number of factors – but more on that in a minute.;
When you know what you want to trade and who you want to trade with, make sure you’re physically next to each other . Then head to the Friends tab within Pokemon Go, and select the player you want to trade with. Hit the trade button in the right-hand corner, and get your friend to do the same. When you’ve connected, pull up the Pokemon you want to trade and you’ll be informed of the trade cost in Stardust, but also the CP range the Pokemon will hit when it is traded. When the trade is over, the Pokemon’s CP level will sit somewhere within this range. The range is affected by your Trainer Level, the level of the receiving trainer and also your friendship level.;
You also get candies for every trade, which is a great added bonus. How many you’ll receive depends on where the Pokemon was caught too. The further away you are from its source, the more candies you’ll receive. According to Reddit, you get one candy for distances below 30km, two candies from between 30 – 100km, and three candies for anything above 100km.;
Not all Pokemon are regarded the same in Pokemon Go trading though, as there are two types of trades you can do with a friend: Standard Pokemon Go trades, and Special Pokemon Go trades.;

What You Can Do On Pokmon Go From Your Own Home
Niantic has made many home-friendly changes so you can play Pokémon Go without venturing outside. In an initial update released on March 12, Niantic made the following changes:
- Incense duration has been extended from half an hour to one hour
- The hatching distance for eggs has been halved
- Pokéstops now drop more gifts than usual
- Inventory limit of gifts has been increased from 10 to 20
- The number of Pokémon that spawn in the wild has been increased
- A bundle of 30 incense has been made available in the shop for the significantly reduced price of one Pokécoin.
In a further update on March 23, more in-game changes were made. A new one Pokécoin bundle was made available – this time for 100 Pokéballs. Both the Pokéball and Incense bundles were made available until March 30 but these bundles are replaced on a weekly basis . In addition, the following changes were also made.;
Safari Zone ticket holders are receiving in-game bonuses for playing at home, which include eight hour incense and a guarantee that all Safari Zone tasks will be able to be completed from home. The Genesect event was also adapted so that anyone purchasing the event ticket could complete it from home.;
Niantic has also announced;a new feature called ‘Today View‘ which collects a whole bunch of useful information like streaks and current events in one place to allow players to keep tabs of their game better.
Referral Program For Pokmon Go Explained
The Referral Program for Pokémon Go is available to both new and returning players, with the latter being people who haven’t played the game in over 90 days.
As of Wednesday, 31st March, the Referral Program is available worldwide after completing the trail in Australia.
Giving a player your Referral Code will allow them to access the Referral Program rewards which will reward both of you as the referred player completes specific feats in Pokémon Go.
If you want access to the Referral Program rewards, however, you must ensure that both you and the referred player, or vice versa as may be the case, are in-game Friends and stay this way until you’ve unlocked all of the Referral Program rewards. If you don’t, then these quests and the Referral Program rewards will not be available to you.
The Friends Cap in Pokémon was increased to 400 on Tuesday, 6th April, which is great for players who’ve previously filled their Friend’s List. You can also open 30 Gifts per day.

How To Invite Friends To Pokmon Go Raid
You can now invite remote friends to raids in Pokémon Go by joining a raid and pressing the plus players icon.
It is only possible to invite up to five friends to a raid in Pokémon Go, and ticking their names will send them an invitation.

All you need to do then is wait and see if all or any of them decide to join you.
However, there are limitations and requirements you must meet in order to send an invite to raids. Per the games official Twitter account, the ability is currently only available to players ranked lvl 32 or higher.
The ability to invite friends to raids is now live for Trainers Level 32 and up! We will remain at this level of rollout for now, to monitor the feature for stability. Stay tuned for updates in the coming days as we continue making this feature available to more Trainers!

How Do You Sign Up In Pokemon Go
To sign up for Pokémon Go: Turn on your device and find Pokémon Go in your app manager. Tap it to open it. On the title screen for Pokémon Go, you will be presented with the choice to sign up with Google or with the Pokémon Trainer Club. Assuming for the time being that you dont have a Google account, tap the second option.

Tips And Tricks For Playing Pokmon Go At Home
While the above changes from Niantic do certainly make Pokémon Go much easier to play at home, there are few other tips and tricks you can do to make playing Pokémon Go from your home a little easier.;
If you are in a lockdown that allows for daily exercise, and there are gyms and Pokéstops within walking distance of your home, wed recommend planning a walking or cycling route that incorporates them – but only if you are able to safely.;
Pokémon Go also has many incredible online communities, including many local groups. Its definitely worth checking them out. ;You can add them all as friends, battle them and send each other gifts to keep your stock of Pokéballs and eggs up during the lockdown. Plus when all this has blown over you have a new community of friends to meet!

How To Make Pokemon Go Friends
The first step towards Pokemon Go trading – once you’ve gone beyond Trainer Level 10 of course – is to actually become friends within the game. To do this, you need to go to your Trainer section, and hit the Friends tab. From here, tap the “add Friend” button to bring up your own Trainer Code. What Is The Max Number Of Pokemon Go Or Niantic Friends
As of April 2021, your maximum number of friends in Pokemon Go is 400. This includes all of the friends youve added across the Niantic family of games, including Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Ingress Prime.
If youve been avidly adding friends for all of those games over the years, then your friend list may already be topping out at 400 friends – but hopefully youre not there yet and you still have plenty of room for new pals.
