You may love Fire-type Pokémon, but having an entire team ofthem is going to get you in trouble when you battle against a Trainer that usesWater- or Ground-type Pokémon. The key is to form a team with a wide range ofPokémon and with moves that will prepare you for anything.
One of the early choices youll have to make in PokémonSword and Pokémon Shield is which Pokémon will become your firstpartner Pokémonthe Grass-type Grookey, the Fire-type Scorbunny, or theWater-type Sobble. Go with your personal preference, of course, but use thatchoice as a basis for assembling the rest of your active team. Luckily, youllencounter a nice variety of wild Pokémon early in the adventure. Its not toodifficult to quickly form a team with a solid range of skills.
Keep in mind that the first Gym youll face focuses onGrass-type Pokémon. That means youll have the advantage if your team is fullof Fire-, Ice-, Poison-, Flying-, or Bug-type Pokémon. Youll have plenty ofopportunities to build a team of those before reaching the Gym, too. Forexample, if you dont choose Scorbunny as your first partner Pokémon, youllhave a good chance early on to encounter other Fire-type Pokémonsuch as Vulpix or Growlithe before reaching the first Gym. Chances are also very high that youll comeacross other useful Pokémon along the way.
It Seems Like They Really Dont Want You To Start A New Game
Pokemon Sword and Shield functions similarly to other Pokemon games in that youve only got one profile per game. That means you cant create multiple characters or have multiple save files. All of your progress in the game is tied directly to one save file. However, if you want to start over for whatever reason you still can, though its not quite up front regarding how to do this.
Previous Pokemon games had a way to access and delete your profile from the game itself by pressing a combination of buttons. With Pokemon Sword and Shield this is no longer the case. Now you actually have to go into the Switch dashboard and delete your save file if you want to start a new game
To do this you will go to the System Settings Menu on the Nintendo Switch dashboard. From there you will need to scroll down to the Data Management section. Then scroll down to the Delete Save Data section. This will bring up the screen in the image above. From there you will delete your Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield save file and then you will be able to start a new game.

Riddler_Khu claims that the DLC for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set to arrive in April, but looking at the franchises past history with DLC could provide an even better idea. Pokémon Sword and Shield were the first mainline games in the series to ever receive DLC, as before then Game Freak had opted for totally enhanced rereleased versions, such as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Sword and Shield were first released in November 2019, and the DLC was announced two months later in January 2020. From there, the first expansion, Isle of Armor, launched in June 2020, roughly seven months after the original games. The next expansion pack, The Crown Tundra, was then released four months later in June.
The timing of Legends: Arceus DLC would likely depend on the size of the update. If theres a sizable expansion like with Sword and Shield, April seems a bit too early, so were likely looking more at May or June. April could be a good time to announce the DLC, especially if there hasnt been a Nintendo Direct by then.
If theres a smaller DLC or update planned, however, we can compare it to another title, New Pokemon Snap. Released in April 2021, New Pokémon Snap received a hefty 2.0 content update four months later in August. If Legends: Arceus is getting content updates instead of full expansions, it would make more sense that it arrives in April.

Japans Pokémon YouTube channel has posted a new trailer of the Sword and Shield Isle Of Armor DLC with a release date of June 17th.
Although it doesnt come out until the aforementioned date, you can prematurely buy it as well as The Crown Tundra for £26.99 from the Nintendo eShop.
The Crown Tundra isnt planned to come out until sometime in the Fall.

How To Travel To The Crown Tundra
In order to access the second new area in Pokémon Sword and Shield, youll need to have purchased the games Expansion Pass. With the pass purchased, update your game which may require you to close and restart and the next time you start up your adventure, youll be informed that you now have a Crown Pass, granting you access to the Crown Tundra.
With your pass, head over to Wedgehurst Station in the south of the Galar Region and speak to the main standing in front of the turnstiles. Hell notice your Crown Pass and ask you if youd like to board a train to ride over to the new area.
A train will take you south to the Crown Tundra. From the kiosk in that areas station, you can also travel to other train stops.
