Azumarill is the only Pokemon in this set that can be exclusively found through 2 different methods. Here is how players can find them in both.

• Field Research: Azumarill can be found by completing the “Catch 15 Exeggcute” Field Research Tasks. To find this task, continue to clear out your list and swipe at PokeStops until it appears.

How Can You Catch Azumarill For The Spring Into Spring Collection Challenge In Pokmon Go

Since the quest specifically tells players to catch an Azumarill, evolving a Marill wont count toward completing the quest. There are alternatives you can try out to get yourself into an encounter with Azumarill, though.

Participating in three-star raids will get you in an encounter with Azumarill since its one of the raid bosses and will stay that way throughout the event. Note that Azumarill is only one of the raid bosses which means that theres also a chance that you may encounter other one instead of it.

If you arent that keen on raiding, youll also have the option to secure an encounter through completing field research tasks. The Catch 15 Exeggcute field research task awards players with an Azumarill encounter, a decent alternative to the raid method. It may look like a better method than the raiding option, but youll also need to make sure that you have the 15 variant of this field research task since the other versions have different rewards.

You can only carry three field research tasks at a time. If you werent able to get the Catch 15 Exeggcute one at first go, you might want to consider discarding the tasks you have for another try. The Spring to Spring challenge will wrap up on April 8, meaning youll also be against a timer.

How To Get Azumarill In The Spring Bloom Event Collection Challenge

Azumarill is the evolution of Marill, and unlike Diggersby, you wont be able to add him to the Collection simply through evolution you have to capture him to make it count.

Azumarill does not appear in the wild, not even with the help of Incense, so you dont have to try. Instead, you will have to focus on two possible locations during the Bloom Spring event:

• Three-Star Raids
• Event-Specific Field Investigation

You will need luck on your part, and prioritizing one or the other will depend on what suits you best.

Check out the gyms in your area, as the quicker of the two is to complete the Azumarill Raid is the quicker of the two, especially if you can use Remote Raid Passes. Azumarill has a relatively low CP at 9,847, so you can complete it solo if you have strong Grass-type counters.

The Capture 15 Exeggcute task will require you to spin PokéStops until you find them. Remember that research changes daily, so keep trying until its added to your list. Luckily Exeggcute appears very often during the event and you will get Azumarill as a reward.

The Gen 6 Pokémon from the Kalos region have arrived and the maximum level cap has been increased to 50, so we recommend methods of quickly increasing XP.

Remember: the Collection Challenge must be completed before the associated event ends.
