How To Get Raid Passes In Pokemon Go
In order to take part in a Raid Battle, youll need a Raid Pass. You can earn one Raid Pass each day by spinning the Photo Disc at any Gym. If you run out, you can purchase a Premium Raid Pass from the Shop.
There are now also Remote Raid Passes available in Go. These are ideal for trainers who cant leave the house, as they let you join any Raid Battle thats on the Nearby screen or tappable from the Map View.
Remote Raid Passes can be bought from the Shop, or received as free gifts every now and then.

The ever elusive Mewtwo has been the desire of almost every trainer in Pokemon GO all over the globe. Catching it was only possible via raids previously. As of now though, Mewtwo isn’t available for players to catch in the game.
Mewtwo and armoured Mewtwo appeared during the Pokemon GO community event, where the Pokemon knew the charged attack Psystrike. And the Pokemon is all set to return again in February 2021, as a part of the Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto event.

This event is scheduled to start on the 20th of February 2021, and will last for 12 hours only. So those who haven’t been able to catch the Mewtwo till now will have a chance to get their hands on this Pokemon in Pokemon GO.
Pokemon GO is currently experiencing the Unova Celebration event, where trainers have a week to catch special Pokemon to complete the challenge.
Should You Purify Shadow Mewtwo
Players should not purify Shadow Mewtwo. Though its likely tempting to instantly get a high-CP Mewtwo without much effort, Shadow Mewtwos damage output is significantly higher than a regular Mewtwo because of how the Shadow Pokemon mechanics work in the game. Even if this changes at some point, Shadow Mewtwo can be purified at any time.
On top of that, Shadow Mewtwo is significantly rarer than regular Mewtwo and may ultimately prove to be one-of-a-kind for players. Though players that purify their Shadow Mewtwo will still get a very strong Pokemon for their efforts, theyll still be missing out on a stronger, rarer Pokemon if they take the plunge by purifying it.

Here are some ways to increase the number of Premier Balls youll get:
- Deal a high amount of damage to the Raid boss.
- Your team deals a high amount of damage to the Raid boss.
- Controlling the gym that the Raid takes place in.
- Participating in Raids with friends.
Remember, you can also use Razz Berries, or even better Golden Razz Berries, to help catch Raid bosses. Getting excellent throws or spinning curveballs will increase your chances, too.

How To Catch Mew In Pokemon Go
To catch Mew, you need to unlock a Research Task called A Mythical Discovery. This task has eight steps, and you need to complete them all. For the sake of brevity, we wont include all the details here.

The History Of Legendaries In Pokmon Go
Before we even heard their presence was confirmed in the big Gym rework, we already knew the various Legendaries were in the game.
That’s thanks to some good old-fashioned datamining. NesstendoYT on YouTube was one major player, who dug through the game’s files to discover that the above first generation Legendary Pokémon are indeed listed in the game:
Their absence in the game led to plenty of speculation, particularly with one of the strongest and most famous Legendary Pokémon – Mewtwo – being the focus of one of the game’s first trailers, showing crowds of people teaming up to fight it, whittling down its health as a timer ticks down before capturing the Pokémon in a packed Times Square, suggesting that Mewtwo and other Legendaries could be unlocked through public events rather than random encounters.
That’s since been confirmed of course – but it’s interesting Mewtwo pops up again at the end of the trailer… maybe that’s the Legendary Raid that needs to be tackled in Chicago?
As for Gen 2‘s Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh and Celebi, they’ve appeared in datamining efforts, too, with their stats showing up alongside the likes of the birds, Mew and Mewtwo.
These stats reveal them to be among the best Pokémon in our Pokémon Go tier list, with Mewtwo and Ho-Oh having some of the highest base attacks in the game, more so than existing creatures Alakazam and Dragonite.

Who Is Stronger Mewtwo Or Mew
Mewtwo is significantly stronger than Mew in every Pokemon game that has been released to this point.
In the Pokemon video games, Mewtwo boasts 670 total base stats compared with Mews 600. In Pokemon GO, Mewtwos maximum CP is 4,724 compared with Mews 3,691. Though the first Pokemon movie presented Mew as an equal to Mewtwo, that has never been the case in the games.
The only area where Mew excels over Mewtwo is its moveset. All the way back to Red and Blue, it has been a tradition that Mew can learn every teachable move there is including TMs, TRs, and move tutor moves with very few exceptions. This gives Mew a great deal of versatility in how a player trains it, but Mewtwo has always moved faster, hit harder, and just been generally better.

Niantic and The Pokémon Company are celebrating Pokémon Day and the release of the Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution on Netflix early with a brand new event in Pokémon Go.
Armored Mewtwo makes its return to the popular mobile game for one week, but the powerful Psychic-type won’t be alone. The “clone” variations of some of the more notable Pokémon in the film will be making their Pokémon Go debuts including the Kanto Starters and Pikachu.
If you’re looking to take advantage of all that Pokémon Go has to offer in the Armored Mewtwo event, here’s what you need to know.
POKEMON GO ARMORED MEWTWO EVENT START TIME
The Armored Mewtwo event runs from Tuesday February 25 at 4 p.m. EST to Monday, March 2 at 4 p.m. EST in Pokémon Go.
ARMORED MEWTWO COUNTERS
Armored Mewtwo will appear in Level 5 Raids during the event, and being a pure Psychic-type Pokémon its only weaknesses are Dark, Ghost and Bug-type attacks.
While there are plenty of powerful Pokémon that have those moves at their disposal, Armored Mewtwo will likely carry at least one Psychic-type attack making some of the best, like Gengar, susceptible to being knocked out by it.
However, if you bring with you the following Pokémon and have a big enough group of trainers to help you, taking down Armored Mewtwo shouldn’t be too much of a problem. This time around, Armored Mewtwo will have the special move, Psystrike.

Who Is Mewtwo In Pokmon Go
One of the strongest and most recognizable Legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo is one of a select few artificial Pokémon, created intentionally by humans. The scientists who created Mewtwo spent many years conducting horrific experiments, splicing and cloning DNA from Mew, the common ancestor of virtually all other Pokémon.
