How To Get Evolution Stones From Completing Pok Jobs In Pokmon Sword And Shield
The easiest way to find Evolution Stones in Pokémon Sword and Shield is to complete Poké Jobs.
Once you’ve earned the Water Badge, the second gym badge in both games, you’ll be able to access the third tier of Poké Jobs. From this tier onwards, if your Pokémon do a great job at their assigned job, then you may be rewarded with an Evolution Stone.
You see the current Poké Job listings and assign Pokémon to them by using the PC in any Pokémon Centre.
Carefully read the summary of each Poké Job to ensure your Pokémon do a great job, because this will give you a hint about which type of Pokémon to pick.
If a job says that the Pokémon must be good with fire, for example, then you need to pick a selection of fire-type Pokémon.
Sending the maximum amount of Pokémon that the job requires will also increase your chances of receiving an Evolution Stone.
The amount of time you assign your Pokémon to these jobs, however, won’t affect your chances of receiving an Evolution Stone. Instead, this only affects the amount of EXP you receive.

Finding Ice Stones In Pokmon Legends: Arceus
Arceus fans may also buy an Ice Stone from Ginter of the Ginkgo Guild Shop for 5,000. The item will be available as a special offer which Ginter refers to as a “Snow-Patterned Rock.” Nevertheless, this store offer is spontaneous and will change once players catch 20 Pokémon.
Other RNG-based ways of getting Ice Stone include shaking ores and Space-Time Distortions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Trembling ore nodes that spawn Geodudes or Gravelers will occasionally drop evolution items such as the Ice Stone. Space-Time Distortions can also randomly generate Ice Stones on the ground within the event’s area. Space-Time Distortions become available once players complete Mission 7: “The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods” and obtain access to the Crimson Mirelands. Still, due to the randomness of these events and the shaking ores, Trainers are better off completing Request 86 and earning Merit Points to acquire Ice Stones.

Pokmon: Every Evolution Stone Evolution
There are some Pokémon that require the use of Evolution Stones in order to evolve, some of which changed over the course of each generation.
Not all Pokémon evolve equally, as some of them require the aid of outside items in order to achieve new forms. There are lots of Pokémon that require the aid of special Evolution Stones in order to evolve.
In Pokémon Red and Blue, the vast majority of Pokémon evolve through leveling up. A handful of Pokémon could only evolve through trading and some required Evolution Stones. There were only four Evolution Stones in Pokémon Red and Blue, but more were gradually introduced over time. There were even two Evolution Stones cut from the series, as the leaked beta of Pokémon Gold and Silver had a Heart Stone and a Poison Stone that were planned but never made the final cut.
Each Pokémon game has introduced new Pokémon that require Evolution Stones, and some older Pokémon were altered in later games so that they required Evolution Stones in order to evolve. The information presented below is the same in each following Generation unless stated otherwise. Here are all of the Pokémon that require the use of Evolution Stones to evolve.

What Does The Ice Stone Do In Pokmon Legends: Arceus
How do you use the Ice Stone?
Some Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus will require an item in order to evolve. The Ice Stone is one of these items and will be required to evolve a specific Pokémon into their final evolution. This evolution item can only be used to evolve a Pokémon one time and then will disappear from the player’s inventory once that Pokémon has evolved. In order to use the item, players will need to have the Pokémon hold the item and then tell it to evolve.
How To Use Stones
Once you’ve obtained the right elemental stone, you can evolve a compatible Pokemon simply by selecting the item from your bag. You can evolve a Pokemon at any time using an elemental stone, but in the past, it was often prudent to wait until it reached a certain level first if you evolved the Pokemon too early, it was unable to learn some useful attacks that it could only get in its unevolved form.
Sword and Shield, thankfully, do away with this caveat by letting you teach a Pokemon attacks it could previously learn from the Move Reminder, who can be found inside every Pokemon Center across the Galar region. This means you can now evolve a Pokemon with a stone at any time without having to worry about missing out on certain moves that it could only learn in its unevolved form.
