How To Get Pokmon Candy And Evolve Pokmon
Pokémon dont level up in Pokémon Go in the traditional sense. Instead, you strengthen and evolve your monsters by feeding them candy. Every time you catch a Pokémon, you get candy for that species For example, if you catch a Bulbasaur, you will get three Bulbasaur candies. You can then feed the Pokémon these candies from its status screen to increase its Battle Power or evolve it. This encourages you to catch as many Pokémon as possible, even if you already have a monster of that type. You can also double the amount of candy you get from a wild Pokémon by feeding it a Pineapple Berry before catching it.
Since Candy is needed to activate and evolve your Pokémon, the best way to accumulate Candy is to catch and release: repeatedly catching wild Pokémon and transferring those with worse stats to Professor Willow. You can see a Pokémons stats by tapping Rate on the status screen. If you dont like the monster, tap Transfer to send it. This will permanently remove the Pokemon from your collection, but youll get a candy in return.
Check How To Get Started In Pokmon Go
At the end of the day, Pokémon GO is there for you to enjoy. Its up to you how you want to spend your time playing the game, but here are some things you might want to do: One of the main reasons I keep playing it is that it attracts so many players. I mentioned earlier that Ive seen some people Ive met during COVID thanks to the game, or existing friends coming back to it, which I havent really experienced in other ARGs, other than one or two friends trying out a new game and dropped it pretty quickly. . Pokémon as IP has a lot more power, and since the COVID situation in the US is a roller coaster, it feels like a location-based game, which if played responsibly is a good excuse for some people come back and gather outside more. .
They should be public areas where you dont have to worry about being detected or tracked. Remember that in Pokémon GO, people know where and when youve been somewhere, mainly through gyms. So interact with them at your own discretion. Stalking is stalking, and thats real life. Going after another player in Pokemon GO is very different from other MMOs and carries more serious consequences if law enforcement is involved.

Before you can participate in a raid, you must have a Raid Pass or a Remote Raid Pass. The former allows you to join the raid while physically in the gym, while the latter allows you to join the battle remotely. However, there is a slight downside to this Players joining a raid remotely will deal less damage than those physically in the gym.
There are a few ways to get raid passes. You can get one for free when you spin the photo disc at a gym however, you can only have one free Raid Pass in your inventory at a time. Both types of Raid Passes are also for sale in the Pokémon Go in-game store. A single Raid Pass costs 100 PokéCoins, while a pack of three Remote Raid Passes costs 250.

Curveball And Berry Tosses
Although a simple straight cast is enough to catch many common Pokémon, youll have better luck catching monsters when performing curve ball throws. Spin the pokeball in circles a few times, then slide it up at an angle to curve your throw. This will further increase your chances of catching the monster if you can hit it.
Feeding the wild Pokémon a berry also increases your chances of catching it. There are several varieties of berries. Razz Berries, for example, make a Pokémon easier to catch, while Nanab Berries make the Pokémon move less, which is useful for catching nervous monsters like Zubat. However, the effects of berries do not stack You can only use one berry at a time, and if the Pokemon manages to get out of the ball, the berrys effect will be nullified, so youll have to use a different one.

How To Get Pokemon Candy And Evolve Pokemon
Pokemon don’t level up in the traditional sense in Pokemon Go. Instead, you power up and evolve your monsters by feeding them candy. Each time you capture a Pokemon, you’ll earn candy for that species for example, catching a Bulbasaur will net you three Bulbasaur candies. Pokmon Go Tagging Tips: A Guide To Pokmon Gos New Tagging Feature
Anyone who’s been playing Pokémon GO for the last four yearsknows that managing your Pokémon can feel a lot like corralling a herd ofstubborn Tauros. Pokémon GO allows Trainers to store up to three thousandPokémon at any given time but keeping track of even a fraction of that substantialnumber can be a logistical headache. Accidentally transferring the wrongPokémon to Professor Willow, powering up a Pokémon intended to stay below acertain CP for GO Battle League purposes, or simply taking forever to find thePokémon you want are all-too-common occurrences. Fortunately, the recent introductionof a tagging feature simplifies and revolutionizes the task of tracking yourPokémon.
Before the tagging feature launched, many Trainers used nicknamesto help differentiate Pokémon of the same species. In this limited way,Trainers could track and search for Pokémon intended to serve a certain purposelike participating in raids or defending a Gym. The new tagging feature simplifiessearches by allowing Trainers to create tags they might needsuch as Pokémon toevolve, Pokémon to power up, or even Pokémon to leave alone because their statsare perfect for Trainer battles. You can assign each tag one of eightcolorsblue, green, purple, yellow, red, orange, gray, or blackand a label forthe tag that describes the category you need.

How To Play Pokmon Go: Catching Pokmon
If you want to catch a wild Pokémon that spawns near you on the map, simply tap on it to reveal a new field of view. This should put the Pokémon directly in front of you . The small tab above the creature should indicate the Pokémon’s name and its combat power level .
In the bottom right corner, you should be able to see a Poké Ball icon. By tapping on it, you can select a different type of Poké Ball from your inventory in order to increase the likelihood of catching a stronger Pokemon. Throughout the game, you will be able to collect various Poké Balls, including the standard one, the Great Ball and the Ultra Ball.
You should also be able to see a berry icon on the bottom left corner of the screen. This icon triggers another menu, where you can choose a berry to feed to a wild Pokémon in order to make it easier to catch. Using certain types of berries will also increase the number of Candy that you get from capturing a Pokémon.
For example, the Razz Berry will increase the odds that the Pokemon won’t bust out of the Poké Ball, while the Nanab Berry is generally used to slow down the Pokémon’s movement to make it easier to hit.
If you happen to accidentally tap on a Pokémon, you can use the “flee” icon on the top left corner of the screen to get back to the main map. You can also take a picture of the wild Pokémon by tapping on the camera icon located right at the top.
Pokmon And Inventory Management
Though much of your time spent with Pokémon GO will involve walking around and collecting wild Pokémon, you’ll also spend a considerable amount of time managing your inventory.
Step 1: In Pokémon GO, you have limited inventory space, so you’ll need to keep up with the items and Pokémon you have to ensure you don’t run out of room. One of the easiest ways to clear room for Pokémon is to transfer them to the Professor, which grants you candy for that Pokémon.
Step 2: Candies are required to evolve each Pokémon, so you should get in the habit of transferring your duplicates when you can. This will help you get closer to filling out your Pokédex.

How To Catch Pokemon
While there are a variety of things to do in Pokémon Go, such as completing quests and battling other players, your main goal is to catch Pokémon. You can find Pokémon in the wild by completing research tasks or in raid battles, but the most common place youll find them is right on the world map. Youll see wild Pokémon spawn periodically around your avatar while the game is open, and touching one will start an encounter.
Unlike classic Pokémon games, you dont use your own Pokémon to battle and weaken wild monsters in Pokémon Go instead, you simply throw a Poke Ball at them by swiping up on the screen. Its a simple process, but there are a few ways to improve your chances of catching the Pokémon.
Skillful shooting is one of those ways. As you hold down your Poke Ball, you will see a ring closing around the wild Pokémon. Throwing the Pokéball into the hoop will result in a Nice, Great, or Excellent throw, increasing your chances of catching the monster. The smaller the hoop, the better your shot will be if you hit it, resulting in a greater catch advantage.
