How To Farm Pokecoins In Pokemon Go
Traditionally, trainers could only earn PokeCoins by defending gyms. Even with the new Remote Gym feature, its not always possible to conquer and defend gyms. Not to mention that this becomes increasingly more problematic for new and more casual players.
Niantic will be offering more ways to earn PokeCoins, especially from home heres what they will include:
- Make an Excellent Throw
- Use a Berry to help catch a Pokémon
- Take a snapshot of your buddy
- Catch a Pokémon
How Many Coins Do I Get From The Gym
The number of coins you receive depends on how long your Pokémon spend in the gym. You will receive 1 coin for every 10 minutes your Pokémon is in the gym. You receive coins when a Pokémon is thrown from the gym and returns to your camp, which happens when another player from the opposing team has fought and defeated your Pokémon.

How Do You Get The Basic Gym Badge In Pokmon Go
The first time you interact with a Gym, be it by spinning the Photo Disc on top, battling, placing a Pokémon in the Gym, or beating a Raid Boss that’s taken over the Gym, you’ll see a badge appear, and it’ll be added to your collection.
You can get a Gym badge for every Gym you interact with, so prepare for the number of badges you have to multiply.
What To Buy In The Pokmon Go Shop
If you plan on playing Pokémon Go longterm, youll need storage upgrades and bag upgrades. These allow you to hold more Pokémon and more items, respectively. Both upgrades cost 200 PokéCoins each.
Lucky Eggs are a good purchase, especially if youre trying to speed up the rate youre leveling. One Lucky Egg costs 80 PokéCoins and a set of eight costs 500 PokéCoins.
Youll also need to buy Premium Raid Passes if you want to do more than one raid a day. While spinning a photo disk at a gym will give one free Raid Pass, those hunting for a Shiny Legendary or looking to collect an army of powerful Pokémon will probably need more.
We dont recommend buying Poké Balls, as you can get them very easily for free from spinning Poké Stops. Incubators are also a very optional item, since you have a free permanent Incubator. So unless you need to hatch many eggs at once or quickly, you wont need extra.
Community Day bundles normally do offer good deals for lots of items at a discounted price, but it depends on whats in the bundle. Buying loads of Lucky Eggs in a bundle tends to be pretty worth it, but sometimes buying too many bundles can result in having lots of excess Premium Raid Passes.

What Do Gyms Look Like
Gyms look like domed arenas perched on top of towers. They start rather short but, when enough Pokémon are added to them, they grow and become much more substantial. The arena rises higher and flags showing the symbol of the controlling team drop down to fill the space. An empty Gym will be white and silver, but once a team has taken over a Gym, the colors will change to yellow, blue, or red to reflect Team Instinct, Mystic, or Valor respectively.

What Is Pokmon Go
Pokemon Go is a free smartphone app that combines gaming with the real world. The game uses location tracking and mapping technology to create an augmented reality where players catch and train Pokémon characters in real locations.
Pokémon Go is a game that uses your phones GPS and clock to detect where and when you are in the game and make Pokémon appear around you so you can go and catch them.
As you move around, different and more types of Pokémon will appear depending on where you are and what time it is. The idea is to encourage you to travel around the real world to catch Pokémon in the game.
Unfortunately, Pokémon arent real but technology has evolved to be able to simulate a world in which Pokémon are real. Thats essentially what Pokémon Go attempts to do: By using your phones ability to track the time and your location, the game imitates what it would be like if Pokémon really were roaming around you at all times, ready to be caught and collected.
And given that many original Pokémon fans are now adults, this idea has the extra benefit of hitting a sweet spot of nostalgia, helping boost its popularity.

What Should I Spend My Coins On
Theres a huge range of useful items in Pokemon Go’s in-game Shop, but your mileage may vary on which ones you want to buy. Typically, the most purchased items are Raid Passes and Remote Raid Passes, which cost 100 Coins each. You can buy bundles of three Remote Raid Passes for 250 Coins, but theres no regular Raid Pass bundles.
However, you can get one free Raid Pass per day by spinning a Gym. If you just Raid casually, youll probably be okay with the free Passes, especially as a few Special Research quests give them out as rewards. If you frequently do Raid events, chase down the 5-star and Mega Raids, and get through lots of Raids a week in search of shinies, Rare Candies, and max stat Legendaries, youll end up buying a lot of Raid Passes, which might require you to buy some Coins.
After Raid Passes, Egg Incubators are the most popular. You get one permanent Egg Incubator in the game, but can buy extras which last for three Eggs. The regular Egg Incubators are 150 Coins, while Super Incubators, which reduce the hatch distance by a third, are 200 Coins. Incubators allow you to hatch more Eggs more often, which means more Pokemon, more XP, and more Stardust. These are most effective during limited time events, when rare Pokemon are added to the Egg pool for a brief window. You can find more on that, including a list of all hatches, in our Pokemon Go Egg chart.
How The Pokmon Go Coins Update Was Due To Work
In May 2020, Niantic announced earning PokéCoins will be adjusted away from defending Gyms and towards other activities. This was amended again in June and August 2020 in response to community feedback and general testing, before being cancelled in October 2020 – rolling back to the existing Gym system.
“We appreciate Trainers’ participation in the test, and we’ll continue to look for ways to improve how players can earn PokéCoins,” said Niantic.
So how did it work? The following ways to get Coins was tested in Australia, Germany, New Zealand and Taiwan as part of an initial phase, before being scrapped. It’s unknown whether Niantic will take some of these for a possible revamp in the future – but for now, Gyms continue to be the only way to earn Coins for free in the game:
- The cap of the free number of PokéCoins you can earn is 50 per day .
- There is a cap on the number of PokéCoins you can earn from various sources – 30 from Gyms per day, 20 from featured activities per day.
- PokéCoins earned from defending Gyms will remain at six PokéCoins per hour .
- Featured activities include:
- Use a Berry to help catch a Pokémon
- Take a snapshot of your buddy
- Catch a Pokémon
- Win a raid
- Team Go Rocket-related tasks
To clarify how this worked – you could still earn PokéCoins by defending Gyms as before, but they were capped at 30 per day as opposed to 50 currently. From there, you can add to your daily PokéCoins total by completing highlighted activities, up to a total of 20.

How To Get Pokecoins In Pokemon Go
The main way players earn PokeCoins in-game is by having their Pokemon stay at gyms that their team has taken over. If players can’t find a gym occupied by their team, players will have to challenge one and take it over themselves.
When players have their Pokemon in a gym, they will earn one PokeCoin every ten minutes it stays there. This, however, will cap at 50 coins, meaning that players can’t get large sums from one gym. In addition to this, players will only get the PokeCoins from their Pokemon after being defeated and forced out of the Pokemon gym.
The 50 coin limit also spans multiple Pokemon per day, so if two Pokemon have reached the limit and are kicked out the same day, players will only get 50 coins. However, if one of the two Pokemon is kicked out one day and the second Pokemon is kicked out the second day, the players will get 100 coins since the cap refreshes at midnight in players’ local times.
Because of how players earn PokeCoins through gyms, it is wise to try and have a Pokemon in many different gyms in different locations. This can help make sure that players at least reach the 50 coin limit and space out the possible time it will take for each Pokemon to be kicked out.
If players still want more PokeCoins, it is possible to directly purchase them as previously stated. The prices for them are the following:
100 PokeCoins – $0.99 USD
How Do Gyms Work In Pokmon Go
Gyms are team-based objectives that reward you with coins when your Pokemon is in them. They can hold up to six Pokémon at once, and the Pokémon must be owned by Trainers of any team that currently controls the gym. The gym color corresponds to the color of the three teams: red for Valor, blue for Mystic, and yellow for Instinct.
If your color is Gym, you can enter your Pokémon by clicking the plus button in the lower right corner of the screen. If the gym is full and you already have six Pokemon, you won’t be able to put anything else there. You can only place one Pokemon per gym.
If the gym isn’t your color, it’s time to fight back. You’ll have to fight Pokémon in the gym and reduce their Motivation to zero. You don’t have to fight it alone, though. You can battle Gym Pokémon with friends and non-owning team members to destroy the Gym. Once all the Pokémon are gone, the gym will be neutral and you can put your Pokémon in it to claim it.

Can You Keep Feeding Berries To Pokmon Forever
Not exactly. You can only feed 10 standard Berries to up to 10 Pokémon in any 30 minutes. That means, whether you feed 10 Pokémon one Berry each, or 10 Pokémon 10 Berries each, you still have to wait 30 minutes before you can feed another Pokémon a Berry.
Also, feeding works with diminishing returns, basically having its effects halves each time. That’s probably so you can’t sit there, feed your Pokémon over and over again, and effectively stop attackers from kicking your Pokémon out of the Gym.
What Can You Buy With Pokecoins
You can buy a ton of different items when it comes to using PokeCoins. You’ve got the ability to get Poke Balls, Lure Modules, Egg Incubators, Premium Raid Passes, Lucky Eggs, Max Potions, Incense, Max Revives, Bag Upgrade, Pokemon Storage Upgrade, and different cosmetics for your avatar!
Keep in mind that a lot of these items can be gotten by spinning PokeStops! Think twice before purchasing any items that you can get by walking around town. This is especially the case where it comes to Poke Balls, Revives, and Potions. Stuff like Revives, Potions, Poke Balls, Lure Modules, Lucky Eggs, Incense and Egg Incubators can be earned by leveling up your character.
Sales on certain items do occasionally take place, so keep an eye out for news of any events.
Here’s a list of the purchasable items with their prices and a brief description of what they are. Prices can vary depending on sales, and some items might be offered for a limited time.

Is There A Limit To The Number Of Gyms You Can Be On At One Time
Twenty is the current limit. Keep in mind, though, that the current Gym system doesn’t seem built to favor keeping a large number of Gyms. As you’ll see below, Gyms now take a lot of effort to maintain. So, unless you have 20 Gyms clustered around an area you’re in or pass by multiple times a day, you might find quality now beats quantity.
What Do You Do With Pokecoins
Basically, the Pokecoins can be used to purchase new items in the Pokemon Go and you can also use these coins to upgrade the game. How To Get Pokemon Go Items Quickly
First, you have PokeStops . These are real-world locations that you can spin, giving you a reward. You will get bonus rewards if its your first spin of the day and if you spin them every day for 7 days in a row. You can get special items like Metal Coat and Dragon Scales from these stops, though it’s rarer.
If you have hit your 7-day streak of daily stop spins, youll get a Pokemon evolution item, at random, which can be helpful. PokeStops can give a bunch of different items, at random, from potions to Pokeballs. If you spin a stop above a gym of your team’s colour, you will get a bonus, adding extra items to your inventory.
Is There Coin Hacks Or Generators
There might be hacks available, but I would steer clear of these as much as possible. These would be a good way to quickly lose your account, and I don’t think you’d want to lose all the work you’ve put into it. Most hacks are likely scams, and you could get malware on your devices or potentially download a virus!
