On May 11 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Dratini will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and youll receive two Pokemon Candy for each Pokemon you transfer to Professor Willow, instead of one.
Dratini is a Dragon-type Pokemon from the first generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Dratini into Dragonair using 25 Dratini Candy, and then evolve Dragonair into Dragonite using 100 Dratini Candy.
Shiny Dratini is available in Pokemon Go. Shiny Dratini is pink, rather than blue.
This weeks Spotlight Hour event is pretty special, since two separate in-game bonuses are also in effect this week. First, from May 11 at 10 a.m. local time until May 17 at 8 p.m. local time, players will earn three times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon.
Second, when players evolve Dragonair into Dragonite between now and May 17 at 8 p.m. local time, it will learn the battle move Draco Meteor.
