Right on the heels of Ash becoming the Pokémon World Champion in November, the Pokémon Company group announced today a brand new anime series featuring two new characters, named Liko and Roy in the Japanese series, and the three Paldea starters will begin in 2023. Leading up to the premiere, Ash and Pikachu will have 11 final episodes of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series which will begin to air starting January 13, 2023 in Japan.
Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series is currently streaming on Netflix in North America, and is named Pokémon Journeys in Japan with new episodes on Fridays. More information about the new series is expected to be announced in the future.

Pokémon: Secrets of the Jungle is the 23rd Pokémon film. Unlike Mewtwo Strikes Back, Secrets of the Jungle went back to its 2D animated roots. And another aspect that is different about this film is that Ash has no traveling partner other than Pikachu. In fact, aside from Pikachu, none of his other Pokémon made an appearance in this film.
Secrets of the Jungle revolves around a jungle boy named Koko and his life with mythical Pokémon, Zarude, who essentially adopted the orphaned child. The film is set in the Galar region and features Pokémon from all of the other regions as well.
Pokmon Travel The Series
This is one of the last series issued and one of the most recent. Corresponding to season 23 of the total, it premiered in 2019 and in 2021 it is available on Netflix. Ash and Goh are researchers in Professor Cerezos laboratory and they will begin a series of trips around the world in which they must learn more about these creatures. The series will premiere in April 2023 in Japan, and The Pokémon Company stated in its English press release that the anime will premiere in 2023 “and beyond.” The anime will feature Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from the Pokémon video games, and will also feature the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza in its Shiny form.
The anime will debut after Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series.
The company also announced that it is producing a collection of 11 special episodes to conclude the Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series anime that will celebrate Ash’s adventures spanning 25 seasons. The company stated the episodes will feature fan-favorite characters such as Misty and Brock and will “provide a glimpse into what the future holds … in this final chapter for Ash and Pikachu.”
The episodes will premiere in Japan on January 13, and the concluding anime in Japanese is titled .

Tyson becomes the Winner in the Ever Grande Conference.
Ash continues his journey with Brock, May and Max in Kanto. Ash gets seven frontier symbols and wins the Battle Frontier. However, Ash declines the offer to be a Frontier Brain, and decides to continue his Pokémon journey. May collects five ribbons to participate in Kanto Grand Festival but she loses to Solidad in the Kanto Grand Festival, placing her in the Top 4, and Solidad takes the Kanto Grand Festival Ribbon Cup. Afterwards, Ash battles with his rival, Gary. After seeing Electivire, a Pokémon from the Sinnoh region he has never seen before, Ash decides to travel to Sinnoh.
