Charmander Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesday, July 13th from 6 pm to 7 pm. During this time period, Charmander will have its spawn rate drastically increased. The game will also be providing players with twice the number of candy for capturing Pokemon. Charmander also has its Shiny form available in the game and this is one of the best ways to obtain it in recent history. This guide will show players how they can prepare for this Spotlight Hour.

Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu and Pokémon Lets Go Eevee are re-tellings of the classic Yellow Version . As such, trainers cannot choose the typical Kanto Region Starter Pokémon Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle to begin their journey.

HOW TO CATCH BULBASAUR

When you reach Cerulean City, head to the house next to the Pokémon Center. Youll find a female NPC that wants to gift her Bulbasaur to you. However, youll need to catch 30 Pokémon first.

This doesnt mean 30 different species of Pokémon you can catch 30 Pidgey, it doesnt matter. Also, Pokémon transferred from Pokémon Go or obtained via trade in-game does not count toward the 30 Pokémon goal.

Wild Bulbasaur can also appear but are very rare and only in the Viridian Forest. You can increase your chance of finding a Bulbasaur by using Lures and Super Lures as well as amassing a Catch Combo, but this only works in this case when catching Bulbasaur. This is the case with Charmander and Squirtle as well.

Are The Pokmon At Spawn Points And Nests Always The Same

Theyre the same for two weeks, then they change. Known and migrations, the changes occur on alternate Thursdays at 12 a.m. UTC. . So, over a few months, your Charmander nest might become Slowpoke, Charmander again, Diglett, Drowzee, Paras, then Growlithe, and so on.

Nest migrations are seemingly random, so if you get one you need, hit it as often as you can in those two weeks. Conversely, if a close-by nest is useless, just wait a couple of weeks, and itll change.

Where To Find Charmander Locations In Pokemon Lets Go

To find Charmander in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee, there are several places that you can look. The first one is Route 4, the road between Pewter City and Cerulean City, in the top of the map. The second possibility is the Rock Tunnel, an area in the east, just north of Lavender Town. Option three is Route 21, the road in the southwest that connects Pallet Town and Cinnabar Island. The last two places where Charmanders tend to spawn are Route 22 and Route 23, both on the far left of the map, connecting Indigo Plateau and Viridian City.

As is the case with most other Pokemon, Charmander appears as a Wild Pokemon that you then have to catch. Now, Pokemon will mostly appear in the patches of tall grass. Thats not a rule, but it does happen fairly often. So, we managed to get a Charmander to spawn in these locations by using a lure to attract more Pokemon, because Charmander is kinda rare. We would engage all non-Charmanders, then escape the fight, to facilitate more spawns. Eventually, a Charmander appeared. Due to the nature of the spawns, though, youre experience might vary.

How To Catch Squirtle In Pokemon Lets Go

The water-type Squirtle is the third and last the original starter and the last one you encounter in the wild.

There are only two locations where Squirtle spawns, the first of which is to the left of Nugget Bridge in the patch of grass along the river.

Squirtles second spawn area is much farther into the game, in Seafoam Islands the same spot where you encounter the legendary bird Articuno.

As with the other two starters, you will need to chain a Pokemon combo for Squirtle to spawn.

Your other option is to receive a free Squirtle from a police officer as soon as you enter Vermillion city.

Before this happens, however, you will have to catch at least 60 Pokemon in total.

Squirtle evolves into Wartortle at level 16 and then Blastoise at level 36.

Then after you defeat all eight Gym leaders, Professor Oak will give you a Key Stone and a Blastoisinite to Mega Evolve your Blastoise in battle.

Actually There Is Also Another Way

While we told you that Charmander isnt found in the wild, it actually is another way to find it and be able to capture it. Keep in mind that the method just explained is definitely that easier to get it, but if you want to try to catch it first you can use this alternative.

The Lizard Pokémon and its related evolutions can also be obtained in Wildland. In fact, with a lot of patience, you may come across the first generation fire starter or one of its evolutions. The most suitable area for your hunting is that of the dens located in Colle Knuckleburgh and Dragofuria Lake.

Be careful though: unlike the specimen you get from Dandel, you will not get Charizard Gigamax evolving Charmander or Charmeleon captured in these areas, but only those captured during the raid Gigamax. The only lair in which it could appear is located in Dragofury Lake, among the giant rocks.

Keep in mind that the odds of encountering a Charizard Gigamax in this lair are only 5%, but on the other hand it could have the special ability Solar Poters, not otherwise obtainable. Thanks to it, with Intense Sunlight, Charizard receives a 50% Special Attack boost, but loses 1/8 of his maximum HP at the end of each turn.

Where To Get Squirtle In Pokmon Lets Go

You will be able to see Squirtle for a while before you can capture the Pokémon, which is causing problems for Agent Jenny. He even makes her leave her post, allowing you to continue where you couldnt before and later, in the city of Vermillion, youll find out that she captured Squirtle. Can a Pokémon be arrested? Either way, you already know what to do the agent wants someone to take care of Squirtle and keep him out of trouble. That someone can be you, as long as you have captured at least 60 Pokemon if you did, Squirtle will be yours.

It is safe to say that Squirtle also exists in nature, but we are still unable to find one if you have, let us know in the comments.

Where To Get Charmander In Pokemon Lets Go

If you want a free Charmander trade, simply head to Route 24, which is the pathway north of Cerulean City that you must cross the Nugget Bridge to reach. The main story will take you here in search of the famous Pokemon fanatic Bill. Up on route 24, directly north of Nugget Bridge, youll see a trainer standing near the hills with a Charmander. Chat to him and youll find out he wants to off-load the cute little critter. Hell want you to have caught at least 50 Pokemon before he hands Charmander over.

Charmander also spawns rarely out in the wild, too. Ive seen them on Route 3, Route 4 after the cave, and also in the Rock Tunnel, but this is once again a rare, infrequent spawn, so stock up on lures.

If Your Rival Evolves Eevee Into Jolteon:

Regardless of which Eeveelution your rival chooses, they will have an incredibly powerful team. Given that your rival in Pokemon Yellow chose Eevee as their starter, it could be the case that both of the new versions will follow suit. Perhaps your rival in Pokemon Lets Go Eevee will choose Pikachu, and your rival in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu will choose Eevee. This would make perfect sense, given that your rival could either base their team around their Eeveelution, or around yours.

If this is the case, choosing Lets Go Eevee could give you a way of deciding your rivals team, whereas choosing Lets Go Pikachuwill cause your rival to base their team on whatever final form of Eevee they get. This is just speculative, but Pokemon Yellow is the closest thing weve ever seen to the Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu vs Eevee games.
