Pokmon Platinum Series Collection
The Diamond and Pearl era of the TCG officially kicked off in 2006 and introduced the wildly popular LV.X Pokémon cards. As a promotional tie-in to the Pokémon Official Magazine, the TCG got the Platinum Series collection. The collector set is a dream-come-true for Generation 4 fans, as it features the three Sinnoh Legendaries, Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina, as promotional Pokémon cards. The collection also includes a special Pokémon Platinum poster as well as a mini Arceus figurine that is now incredibly rare. While this might not be the most expensive collectors edition to hit stores, its inclusion of Diamond and Pearl merchandise makes it one of the coolest limited boxes to release in the TCG.

Pokmon Shining Legends Super Premium Ho
In the Shining Legends expansion released in 2017, the TCG brought back the popular Shining Pokémon card mechanic for the first time since it made its debut in Neo Destiny. With the rare cards making their first appearance in over a decade, Shining Legends was understandably a massive hit with Pokémon fans. The Super Premium Ho-Oh Collection Box took the already incredible expansion and kicked it up a few levels by including Shining Celebi and Shining Lugia Pokémon cards as promotional items. Only available at the Japanese store, the special collectors set was themed around Pikachu cosplay with a Rayquaza Poncho. The box not only featured five booster packs, but it also included two holographic Pikachu Pokémon cards dressed up as Diamond and Pearls Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza. If that wasnt epic enough, one of the full art cards even featured a Shiny version of Electric-types Sinnoh costume. The two cards now sell for thousands of dollars online due to their incredible scarcity.
