North Face Japan Reveals Pokmon Apparel For Kids
Plenty of clothing brands have teamed with Pokémon Co. to make limited-edition apparel, and now The North Face is getting in on the action.
Over in Japan, The North Face will be selling Pokémon-themed jackets and jacket cases for kids the cases being shaped like Poké Balls. Each jacket is priced at roughly $86, and they come in yellow and black. As for the jacket cases, they come in Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball styles. Finally, the hat is priced at roughly $50.
These items will only be on sale for five days in Japan, and theyre five very different days. Customers can grab them on Friday, April 29th, 2022, and then every Saturday in May 2022.
Furthermore, only Japanese residents with a Goldwin Members account can apply for a chance to win an entry ticket to a physical store. Winners must report to the Play Earth Park Popup Store at Tokyo Midtown on the designated day and hour, and each visitor can only buy a jacket and a hat. Customers cant even reserve the color jacket they want!

Whats The North Face X Gucci Collaboration
As far as I can gather and Im not a Gucci or North Face expert by any means Gucci partnered with The North Face to create a series of jackets, backpacks, boots and caps.
The whole partnership is being promoted through #TheNortFacexGucci hashtag, and the designs are heavily inspired by original The North Face designs from the 70s. Guccis official website has a story section that highlights the entire design line up.
Im actually loving the video and the whole 70s hippie vibe, but the clothing not so much. Both Gucci and The North Face are very expensive brands, and in todays day and Corona-age, its hard to justify purchasing something like this.
Apparently, Guccis collaboration with The North Face has provoked strong reactions from the fashion community. With websites like Highsnobiety praising it, we hardly think this is aimed at price-conscious buyers. Esquire did mention that this is an expensive collaboration and that it debuts in China.

How Does Pokmon Go Tie Into This
Were guessing that Pokémon GOs outdoor game play and tendency to introduce vibrant clothing seemed like a good idea for a cross-promo between the two companies.
My guess is that somewhere deep in Guccis underground lair, an executive held his fist high and proclaimed: Lets do something with Pokémon GO, their clothes are crazy anyway!Well, or something less romanticized happened on a Zoom call between the two companies.

It didnt take long for The North Face x Guccis 1970s-inspired campaign to stir up some excitement in fashion. After all, the collectionwhich includes logo puffer jackets, chunky-soled leather hiking boots, flowing dresses, and knitted beaniesis the quintessential glamping wardrobe. And now, the hit collaboration has teased that theres even more to come, with a tweet showing the Pokémon Go flag alongside a coming soon caption.

The collab comes as no surprise, especially considering the fashion industrys recent obsession with augmented reality . But what makes this new Pokémon Go collaboration perhaps the most fitting is the value shared between all three entities: an emphasis on exploration. In this case, the adventure-filled game seems to fit Micheles collaboration requirement bill rather serendipitously.
In terms of what to expect from the capsule, we cant really say yet, but a continuation of outdoor camping apparel and accessories seems to be a good guess. Either way, were certain the collection will make gaming and glamping more glam than ever.

The North Face Pokemon Jackets Will Come With Poke Ball Cases
There will be new Pokemon apparel from The North Face brand for kids in Japan. The kids-sized jackets will have a monochromatic Pikachu image and a case shaped after the franchise staple Poke Balls.
The jackets will appear with a price tag of ¥10,890 and two colorsyellow and black. Each jacket will come with a randomly-colored case modeled after the Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, or Master Ball. The store will also sell a kids-size hat at ¥6,380 , although the latter does not have any additional bonuses.
The items will be available for sale on five different daysFriday, April 29, 2022, and every Saturday in May 2022. However, there will be many restrictions to making the purchase.
