On August 27th, 2021, the Evolving Skies Booster Box was unleashed upon society, and the local card shops were jammed-packed.
It features 237 cards. Thirty-four of these cards are considered secret or rarer cards. Based on my research, the pulls rates on this box seem to be 50/50 one ultra-rare appears to be pulled every three boxes.
2016 XY Evolutions Booster Boxes came roaring out on October 31, 2016. Each booster box contains 36 total packs.
The pull rates on this box are guaranteed one rare card and one holo card. A highly sought-after box as one can pull a high-end Charizard holo.
The best card featured from this box is the 2016 XY Holo Charizard, card number 11. This card is a similar design to the original Charizard released in 1999.
Only 315 of these have been graded a PSA 10 example, making this card very sought after.
Pro-Tip: Always opt for PSA 10 if possible as it generally has the top return on investment in sports card investing.
Charizard will always have significant long-term value, and hes regarded as one of the most popular characters in Pokémon.
These boxes are super expensive and are extremely difficult to purchase as they are so rare. So rare in fact we couldnt find an image of one .
Japanese Eevee Heroes VMAX booster box was released on May 28, 2021. This box features 30 packs per box.
The secret rare cards are considered the most sought after. This set features 69 cards plus 32 secret cards in total.

List Of Pokmon Trading Card Game Sets
This is a list of sets which is a collectible card game first released in Japan in 1996. As of September 2017, there were 74 card sets released in America and 68 in Japan. Collectively, there are 6,959 cards in the Japanese sets and 9,110 cards in the English sets. The large difference stems from non-holofoil duplicates of rare cards included in English sets that are not printed in Japanese sets. As of March 2017, 23.6 billion cards had been shipped worldwide.
The sets are generally broken into two lists: one for the first line of Wizards of the Coast cards and the second after Nintendos acquisition of the card game after Wizards.

Get The Cards Condition Graded By The Psa
Lets say you find your old cards and come face-to-face with a 1st Edition Chancey card worth up to $3,500. Sweet!
Now, how do you sell it?
Your first step will be to temper your expectations. Although auction sites will list estimated values of thousands of dollars, the resale value at that moment in time could be 10x more or less than that.
In addition to checking TCGplayers, a good way to rapidly appraise your cards value is to browse recently sold listings on eBay. You can do so by searching for your card, clicking Advanced, and checking the Sold listing box.
Looks like one recently sold for ~$1,875 CAD, or roughly $1,500 USD. Not bad.
This particular Chancey was both encased and graded by a company called the PSA, or the Professional Sports Authenticator. The PSA grades the condition of rare trading cards on a quality scale of 1-10, with 10 being known as Gem Mint. Cards graced by Gem Mint status arent just free of manmade scuffs theyre free of the most microscopic factory defect.
Generally speaking, most cards handled by children before retiring into a shoebox will score a PSA of 7 or lower, selling for about 5% to 10% of Gem Mint price.
Unfortunately, the news gets worse any card worth over $500 will likely need PSA grading, and the PSA is currently so overwhelmed that theyve temporarily suspended most services.

You can also make small adjustments to the deck list to better suit your playing style or see how they effect the outcome of matches.
How Many Should You Buy
How many Pokémon booster boxes you should invest in really depends on what you intend to do with the cards.
If you are collecting the cards yourself, one booster box is enough to get a good start on the new card series. The average collector is best to buy a maximum of two to three booster boxes. Two to three boxes will provide a great selection of cards and a higher probability of getting rarer cards.
If you are selling cards individually, you should follow the guidelines above, too. Buying more than two or three booster boxes will leave you with far too many unsellable cards.
If you are selling sealed booster boxes, you can invest in as many boxes as you like. Keep in mind, though, that you are still taking a gamble! If Pokémon cards go the same way as Beanie Babies or if a particular series is not popular, you are sitting on an investment that will not make you any money.

In November 2018, this booster box sold for $60,200 on eBay receiving over 64 bids in the process. Why is this going for $60k? Basically, every card in this box is still mint, and could sell for great prices. Charizards in this box can sell for $20,000 to $75,000 all by themselves. All holofoils in this box can sell for over $1,000 each. Even basic energy cards can sell for $60 a piece! Based on this sale, each individual booster pack would be worth $1,600! Yowza!

This time its Crystal Holo Charizard. A Pristine 10 Crystal Holo Charizard sold for $9000 in April 2020. This helps these boosters boxes sell in the $15,000 price range. That makes each booster pack in this expansion worth about $400 each! Crystal Ho-oh is in here as well, which can sell for about $2,700.

Pokmon Celebrations 25th Anniversary Box
The newest box on this list was released on October 8th, 2021. This box is often referred to as ETB . You will find ten Pokémon Celebration Booster packs in the box.
This box commemorates Pokémons 25th anniversary, the set is 25 cards total and features reprints of cards you can get out of the booster packs. This box is so new that there have not been verified pull rates to be determined, but the reprint cards from booster packs appear to be the most sought after.
