The Elusive Sinnoh Stone Just Became Easier To Get

Ever since the introduction of Gen 4 Pokemon into Pokemon GO players have had a new item to seek after. The Sinnoh Stone is a very rare item that allows trainers to evolve certain creatures into their latest forms, all of which were introduced in Gen 4 of the main series. As these have been so hard to find, players have been left scrambling for any chance to attain one. Thankfully there are a few options, with more having just been added with PvP. Heres how to get Sinnoh Stones in Pokemon GO.

The first way players can get a Sinnoh Stone is through research rewards. Not just any research qualifies though, in fact none of the regular research will deliver a Sinnoh Stone at this time. Theres hope that some quests will deliver in the future, but if you want to get a Sinnoh Stone youll have to complete your 7-day Research Reward. This initially guaranteed a Sinnoh Stone drop, but has since become random. Youll want to be sure to complete any single research quest each day so that you maximize the number of 7-day rewards you get. Doing this should get you a Sinnoh Stone at some point, hopefully after just one or two sets.

The other way to get a Sinnoh Stone through PvP is to not play other real players at all. Instead you will want to battle one of the three Team Leaders every day. How Do I Get An Unova Stone

For those players who dont have an Unova Stone already, you can find more of them by claiming research breakthrough rewards, or participating in Team Go Rocket Leader Battles .

Unfortunately, Sinnoh Stones are quite restricted in how often you can obtain them, particularly if you dont often do Team Rocket Battles.

There are very few ways to get this Evolution item in the game check your available research rewards and simply keep trying is the best advice I can give if you havent found one so far.

How To Use The Metal Coat In Pokemon Go

The Metal Coat can be used on two different Pokemon too, and as you’d expect, they both turn into Steel types. If you evolve Scyther, you can obtain the snappy Scizor, while Onix the rock snake will turn into Steelix.

• Pansage evolves into Simisage with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
• Panpour evolves into Simipour with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
• Pansear evolves into Simisear with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
• Lampent evolves into Chandelure with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
• Minccino evolves into Cinccino with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
• Eelektrik evolves into Eelektross with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
• Munna evolves into Musharna with an Unova Stone and 50 candy

These items are called the Sinnoh Stone and Unova Stone, and they only work on Pokémon that are from these respective regions.;

This is a simple mechanic that replaces the need for multiple stones and other items in the game, making it easy to obtain any special evolution. This works for stone evolutions like Roselia to Roserade, Pokémon that require a specific move to evolve like Piloswine to Mamoswine, and even held item trade evolutions like Electabuzz to Electivire.;

But even though the mechanic is easy to use, the stones themselves are a little harder to come by then some of the more basic items in the game.;

How To Use Unova Stone In Pokemon

After you get the Unova Stone, now the more important part will be how to use the Unova Stone. The Unova Stone is not easy to acquire, and after getting hands on it, you must make best use of it.

The Pokemon Go Gen 5 Unova Stone can be used for multiple unova stone evolutions of the 5th generation Pokemon. Much like the 4th gen Sinnoh stones that came before the Unova Stones, the stone can be used for some exclusive Pokemon Go Unova evolutions.

Although there are a range of new Pokemons in the game not all of them evolve with the Pokemon Go Unova Stone. It must also be noted that most of the new Pokemon added to the game including the Pokemon Black and Pokemon White series do not have any baby versions and have special conditions of evolution along with the use of the Pokemon Go gen 5 Unova Stone.

• The Unova Stone can be used to evolve Lampent into Chandelure. Chandelure is a pure ghost type Pokemon and one of the best in the game. This is undoubtedly the best use of your Unova Stone.
• Eelektrik can be evolved into Eelektross, which is an electric type in the game, although this decision of Univa Stone evolution is questionable and might not be one of the best utilisations of the rare stone.

Right now, we still dont know how to find Unova Stone in Pokémon Go, but if it works like Sinnoh Stone, then we already have some guesses.

You can receive Unova Stone:

• Collecting the Field Research seventh day reward
• Defeating other trainers in PVP Trainer Battles
• You can also get an Unova Stone by defeating the leaders of Team Rocket Go

With these two methods you will be able to receive Sinnoh Stone, being different from the other ways to discover special evolution items. Kings Rock and the other special evolution items can be found by opening Gifts from friends or on the seventh day as Daily Bonus for spinning PokéStops.

Evolving Horsea all the way to Kingdra is no mean feat. Pokémon Go makes it very challenging, asking first for 25 Horsea Candies to evolve to Seadra, then another 100 candies plus a Dragon Scale to evolve to Kingdra.

Thankfully, Pokémon caught during Spotlight Hour yield twice as many candies as normal, meaning that one half of evolving Horsea into Seadra and the Kingdra is easy. But how to get a Dragon Scale?

How Do You Get Unova Stones

Currently, the only way to get Unova Stones are through completing weekly Field Research Breakthroughs. After turning in seven Field Research Tasks on different days, you can claim the stamps for a Research Breakthrough. In addition to the special Pokémon that will spawn, there is a chance to get an Unova Stone.

Note that its not a high chance to drop, so it might be awhile before you get an Unova Stone.

Unova Stones also sometimes appear as rewards for Timed Research from events, so keep your eyes peeled for those.

Which Pokmon Can Use Unova Stone In Pokmon Go

Gen 5 has a wide range of Pokémon with special conditions for their evolution. From using special evolution items, such as Dusk Stone, to reaching a certain level of friendship. All of these methods can be replaced with Unova Stone in Pokémon Go.

Below, you can find a list of Pokémon that have the potential to evolve with Unova Stone. Weve also included how Pokémon evolve in the main series to get an idea of the methods that Unova Stone can replace.

You can also get them in gifts, although this is again quite a slim chance. Alternatively Completing the special research line, A Ripple in Time, will earn you one.;

Pokemon GO Dragon Scale Only Used For One Pokemon

Interestingly, this special evolutionary item is only used with one evolution. If you want to use a Dragon Scale, youll need a Seadra. Seadra evolves from Horsea, but you might be able to catch one if youre lucky.;

When you do, youll need to combine the Dragon Scale with 100 Horsea Candies if you want to evolve Seadra into a Kingdra. You earn these candies in the traditional way Either you catch lots of Horsea with berries or you walk around with a Horsea as your Buddy Pokemon. You can also transfer spare Horsea to the Professor for candies Yknow, because youll probably have quite a few spare. Just make sure you check stats and appraise before you decide which Seadra to evolve!

There is only one way to get Unova Stones in;Pokemon Go.;To get Unova Stones, the player will need to complete their Research Task every week. At the end of completing tasks for 7 days , players will have a chance to find an Unova Stone as a reward. To make this task easier, make sure to complete Research Tasks every day. Also, make sure to do the easiest ones first. A good example is something simple like catching 3 Pokemon. These tasks can easily be completed, but the player will still need to wait to claim one each day. It can be time consuming, but currently, only 4 Pokemon in the game require this item to evolve.

Now, I dont want to sound like a nagging Poke-parent – ironic given how lax parents are in the main games – but its time to up your game and start playing Pokemon Go every day. Yep, on your feet soldier. If you arent already, this small step will guarantee you a Pokemon Go evolution item every seven days from your seven day Pokestop streak and increase your odds of finding a Sinnoh Stone.

Regular special items such as Up-Grades and Kings Rocks sometimes even drop from regular Poke Stops but making sure to spin a Poke Stop every day and working towards your streak will ensure you get at least one every week. Bear in mind though that its impossible to predict what youll get so you might have to see a few Metal Coats before you find the Sun Stone you want.;

The Sinnoh Stone, introduced with Gen 4, is a significantly trickier find but not impossible. There are two main ways to find a Sinnoh Stone. The first is to complete your seven day research breakthrough tasks. This essentially means earning one stamp each day until you earn a legendary Pokemon encounter. If youre lucky, at the same time, youll earn a Sinnoh Stone but they are not guaranteed. The second way to find one is to take part in trainer battles via PvP.
