When Can You Use Surf In Fire Red
Before looking for Surf, make sure you have defeated Gym Leader Koga in Fuchsia City, as the 5th gym badge is a requirement for using Surf. Go to Fuchsia City. Pay the 500 Poke dollar entrance fee to enter the Safari Zone north of the city. Walk northeast to locate the Area 1 exit of the Safari Zone.
Find The Warden’s Teeth
From the entrance, head north and east to find the exit to Area 1. Head east until you come to a grassy area, then go up the steps to the north. Go west, then down the steps and continue on north where you will see another short stairway. Go up the stairs, go east, and then down the next stairway you see. The exit to Area 2 is to the west, so go north until you can turn left and continue on west until you find the exit.
Now that you’re in Area 2, go west until you’re in the tall grass, then continue on north and go up the steps , then take the next flight of stairs down again. Go west until you bump into a pond, then continue on north. Go east until you find yourself in tall grass again, then go north. When you can’t go any further, turn to the left and continue on west . You’ll come to another patch of tall grass. You’re almost there. Just go all the way to the south and exit this map to go to Area 3. There, finally — a few squares to the south — you will find the Gold Teeth.
Seafoam Islands: Pokemon Fire Red/leaf Green
ArticunoYou do not need to go to Seafoam Islands to pass the game, but you might want to get there to catch Articuno.
If you have yet to defeat the Elite Four you can always Fly to Pallet Town and surf SOUTH until you reach Cinnabar Island.
However, follow these instructions to make it to Seafoam Islands and out to the other side. Remember to: buy extra pokeballs, greatballs and ultraballs , and bring your masterball if you still have it. Make sure you heal your Pokemon and bring Pokemon of at least level 55. Articuno is at level 50 and it WILL put up quite a fight.
Go towards the east on Cinnabar Island until you reach the coast. Surf down then turn to the left to reach Seafoam Island. There will be a cave there, get inside.
When you enter the cave, you can see a boulder to the right and a hole. Make one of your Pokemon push the boulder through that hole.
On that same floor, there is another boulder to the other side, so ignore the ladder for now, go to the other side and push that other boulder into the hole once again.
Do not go into the ladder, go back to where the first hole is and drop down through it. Make sure you push the boulders into those holes, they will be necessary to block the current, so that you can surf in the cave’s lower level.

How To Catch Mew In Pokemon Go

How To Get Mew Without Hm Surf In Pokemon Fire Red
Pokemon Fire Red is a version of the original Pokemon game, Pokemon Red. In the original game, it was possible to find and capture a rare Pokémon known as Mew. This has been removed from Pokemon FireRed, however it is still possible to acquire the Pokemon through an exchange. First, you must find and capture Mew in Pokemon Emerald. This usually requires you to cross a large body of water, and can be problematic if you dont have HM Surf. By using the Gameshark, however, you can teleport to the island directly.
Step 1
Power up your Pokemon Emerald by entering the Gameshark code 19C67C656689 94318A10E753 below. This will transport you to the Far Island.
Step 2
Walk through the grass until you see Mew. Try to fight her. She can run away, but its normal. Keep chasing her and you will be able to fight her. Once Mews health is low, roll a Pokeball to capture it.
Step 3
Enter the Gameshark code 19C67C656689 12B9BF13D649 to transport yourself back to Mauville City. Enter the Pokemon Center and go up the stairs on the left side of the building.
Step 4
Fire up your second Game Boy Advance and start playing Pokemon Fire Red. Navigate to the Pokemon Center and go up the stairs on the left.
Step 5
Plug the connection cable into the two Game Boy Advances. Talk to the character behind the table. It will ask you what you want to trade. Choose Yes on both Game Boy Advances.

Pokemon Lets Go Spawn Rates
Fortunately, although still rare, they arent quite as rare as the original Gameboy games. Once you capture the initial one time sightings of these Pokemon then they will become rare spawns in the wild. Were not talking 10% rare either, youll need to do some searching in order to come across them. Moreover, youll need to be flying on your own Pokemon. Mewtwo remains a one time seen Pokemon though.

Pokemon Lets Go Legendary Bird Locations Where To Find
Pokemon Lets Go has only been out for four days at the time of writing this, but weve already uncovered where to find these legendary Pokemon:
- Articuno Youll need to head to Seafoam Islands, which is located in the South of the Kanto region. Youll need to have a Pokemon that knows the Sea Skim technique, so you can cross the body of water to reach it. You can get this at the Pokemon Go Park complex in Fuchsia City. Once you locate the cave on Seafoam Islands, youll need to push a few boulders out of the way with the Strong Push technique, which you get from the Safari Park warden after you return his gold teeth. Once thats done, you need to surf across a small bit of water to reach Articuno.
- Zapdos Like Articuno, youll need Sea Skim to reach Zapdos. Head to the Pokemon Center on route 10, and walk North from here to find a stream. Surf up the stream until you come across a small crop of land, which houses the power station. Walk inside and Zapdos will be there.
- Moltres Youll want to backtrack to Victory Road if you didnt see Moltres here upon your first visit. You can access this area once you have all eight gym badges, so itll be the end of the game before you can locate it. Once inside, work your way around until you see a ladder that heads down. Youll know youve found the right one as there will be a police officer on the other side of the cavern. Head down the ladder, take a right to a new area, and Moltres will be on a podium nearby.
How To Get Moltres In Pokemon Lets Go
To find Moltres, youll firstly need to make it to the cave on Victory Road. However to even think about making it to Victory Road in the first place, youll need to defeat all eight Gym Leaders in the game, including the likes of Brock, Misty, Sabrina, Blaine, and more.
Once at Victory Road, youll eventually find yourself in the cave. Youll eventually come to Officer Jenny, who you can see below, thatll heal your Pokemon up instantly.
You need to use the Strong Push technique on the stone pillar to the left of Officer Jenny. Doing this will let you access the ladder just above you that leads down to the next level of the caverns.
Simply head to the right once youve taken this ladder leading downwards, and youll be able to find Moltres. As usual with all legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee, youll have 5 minutes maximum to take down Moltres in combat. Wed recommend using Electric, or Water-type Pokemon for taking down Moltres as quickly as possible.
Once Moltres has been defeated in combat, youve got all the time in the world to capture it using a Poke Ball. Note that legendary Pokemon are always the most difficult to contain, so youll want to use the highest level ball possible, like a Great, Ultra, or Premier Ball .

Where To Find The Legendary Pokemon Spawn Locations
Before these Pokemon spawn in the wild youll need to defeat and capture them first. With other wild Pokemon you can simply attempt to catch them in Pokemon Lets Go.
With Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo however, youll need to defeat them first. Each of them are located in deep areas of the Kanto region. Much like the old Pokemon games, they are level 50 when you capture them. Mewtwo on the other hand is level 70.
How To Get Shiny Mewtwo
You can actually capture a shiny Mewtwo if you want, though, it will take immense time and patience. Dont worry if the Mewtwo doesnt appear shiny before you approach it as the game doesnt determine if its shiny or not until you activate the initial cutscene.
So, you can simply save before approaching it and soft reset until you get the shiny Mewtwo. All you have to do for this is save before approaching, watch the initial cutscene, and see if it is shiny or not in battle. If it isnt, all you need to do is head to the home screen on your Switch and close out of Pokemon Lets Go.
Reopen the game, reload your save, and retry again and again until you finally get the chance to capture a shiny Mewtwo. Good luck!

How To Evolve Eevee Leafeon And Glaceon
Finally Eevee evolutions got even more confusing in Pokémon GO with the addition of Gen 4s Leafeon and Glaceon. This time youll need an item, or someone around you will need to use one that you can access. To evolve Eevee into Leafeon you need to be within range of a Poké Stop that has an active Mossy Lure on it. You can see this on the map with flying leaves surrounding it. Glaceon requires the Stop to instead have a Glacial Lure on it, which will display with swirling ice. Most players have gotten these for free from various events, but they can also be purchased from the shop for 200 Poké Coins a piece. Once you have one just use it on a Stop and evolve an Eevee while standing nearby.

How To Send Mew From Pok Ball Plus To Pokmon Sword And Shield
Have fun getting Mew if you have the accessory.
Thanks to the Poké Ball Plus accessory that was made to enhance the catching experience in Pokémon: Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee!, you can actually still transfer a Mew from the device into Sword and Shield.
This will require you to have both a copy of Sword or Shield and a new Poké Ball Plus that has not been used with a copy of the Lets Go games. A used accessory might have already been part of a transfer, which will stop you from obtaining your Mew.
If you or someone else already redeemed the Mew included in the Poké Ball Plus, this method will not work and you will need to purchase a new accessory or find someone to trade with in order to get a Mew, since it is not catchable in the game.
After starting Sword and Shield you can go into your settings and select Mystery Gift, which will then have another option called Take A Stroll with Poké Ball Plus. The game will then ask you to hold down on the control stick on the accessory until it connects to your system.
After your Poké Ball Plus connects, you should hear a noise from the ball in the form of Mews cry. That the device has not been used in a previous transfer and you can now import the legendary into Sword and Shield.
Simply select yes when asked if you want to get the Pokémon out of the ball and you will receive your Mew. It will be waiting in your party if you have an open slot and will be level one when you get it.
How To Catch Moltres
Last up is Moltres, the fire bird. This hothead is located in Victory Road to the west of Viridian City specifically the caves leading up to the Elite Four. Victory Road is filled with puzzles and trainers that players must overcome, so they should use their best Pokemon and spend their hard-earned money on plenty of items before venturing into these caves. Just like Articuno and Zapdos, Moltres will be Level 50.
After all three legendary birds have been caught, they can be found flying over most routes in the game, but players will need to fly on the back of a Pokemon to reach them. They are specifically found on Routes 1-4, 6-8, 10-19, and 21-25. To get them, players will need to beat the Elite Four and then have Aerodactyl, Dragonite, or Charizard out of their Poke Ball to ride on. This allows players to soar in the sky to find these birds once more, and even get a chance at chaining for shiny versions of these powerful Pokemon that would make a great addition to any Pokemon team.

How To Take Your Pokemon For A Walk In The Poke Ball Plus
Adding a Pokemon to the Poke Ball Plus is simple, but the menu can be tricky to find. Youll find the option to add your Pokemon to a Poke Ball Plus in the save menu shown below.
Select Take your Pokemon for a stroll in the save menu to initiate the process of adding a Pokemon to a Poke Ball Plus. Follow the directions to connect your Poke Ball Plus to the Switch.
Now its time to choose the Pokemon you want to bring with you.
The first option allows you to bring your Partner Pokemon the Pikachu or Eevee. The second option allows you to bring a Pokemon from your Pokemon Box. Select the option you need and then your chosen Pokemon will be sent to the Poke Ball Plus.

Can You Do The Mew Glitch In Fire Red
Method 1 of 2: Trading for Mew is the only legitimate way to obtain a Mew in FireRed anymore. Mew is an Event Pokémon, and was only available during a single event in 2006. There is a glitch that people claim will work to find Mew, but this only works in the original Pokémon games. It does not work in Fire Red.
