How To Get The Metal Coat In Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Shield

Scyther are rather easy to find in Isle of Armor. Simply head to the Training Lowlands, which happens to be the Pokemons habitat. They appear during any weather pattern, so simply show up and you should have plenty of chances to catch one.

If you are looking to get yourself a Scizor, no worries! It is rather easy to do as well. To evolve to Scizor, a Scyther needs to be holding a metal coat and be traded, just like ever since Scizor was introduced in generation two. To get a metal coat, travel to Stow-on-Side in the main region of the game . In Stow-on-Side, head to the left until you find a back alleyway. Climb up the ladders in front of you until you are at the very top. There will be a man sitting with his feet dangling off the roof. The item sitting next to him the metal coat you need! If you do not feel like using it to evolve Scyther, you can also use it to boost steel type moves for another Pokemon.

Obviously, since you have to trade the Scyther to make it evolve, be sure to trade it to a friend who will trade it back so you can have your new steel bug!

How To Find Spritzee In Pokmon Sword And Shield

Before the Crown Tundra DLC drops, Pokémon Sword & Shield players can collect any Pokémon they might have missed, including Spritzee.

As the countdown to the next DLC continues, Pokémon Sword & Shieldplayers may want to keep working on completing their Pokédex and catching all the currently available creatures. This way, as new Pokémon arrive with the Crown Tundra DLC, players can focus all their attention on adding these to their collection. In the game, many of the pre-evolution forms of popular Pokémon are more difficult to find and catch than the evolution forms. This is not true for Spritzee, the pre-evolution of Aromatisse. Players can catch this beaked, wispy Pokémon easily if they know where to look.

It has a regular and a shiny variant, and both can be found in the wild areas of the Galar region. Spritzee and its evolution, Aromatisse, are only available in the Shield version of the game, so players who opted for Sword will need to do a little more work to catch these Pokémon. In addition, Spritzee is one of the only ways players can add Aromatisse to their Pokédex. Thankfully, Spritzee are fairly common around Route 5. In order for it to evolve, youre going to have to trade it with another trainer and have it holding a very specific item, a sachet. So, where do you find one of those?

Head over to the Hammerlocke location on the map and visit the Pokemon Center. Once you get inside, you will notice that it has a small store inside where you can pick up the item youre looking for at a price of 10BP.

Which Are The Best Starter Pokmon

First of all, its important to understand that any combination of Pokémon can beat the game. At the beginning of the game, youll answer a personality test and will be assigned a Pokémon based on your answers you dont have to accept that suggestion, though, and can choose whichever Pokémon youd like.

Some of the best Pokémon to use as your main Pokémon are Charmander, Pikachu, and Skitty. These are probably the overall best choices due to their stats, their moves, and also how they stand up against bosses. There are a lot of Flying-type bosses in the main storyline, which mean Grass- and Fighting-type Pokémon are at a disadvantage. Its also important to remember that Pokémon are unable to evolve until after the game has been beaten, so some Pokémon like Mudkip and Torchic that have good evolutions with better types arent going to be any better until after the game has already been beaten, so just keep that in mind.

Having a good Pokémon for a partner is also important. The game wont allow you to pick a Pokémon for your partner that is of the same type as the Pokémon you become, so you cant be a Charmander and have either Cyndaquil or Torchic as a partner. You probably wouldnt want to anyway.

Some Pokémon that make particularly good partners are Charmander, Pikachu, Eevee and, if youre using a Water-type starter, Cubone is also a good idea thanks to its ability.

Recently there has been a ton of internet hype regarding the newly announced Nintendo / GameFreak bans in Pokémon Sword and Shield. We have seen everything from claims of hacked / illegal mon getting people banned to .com Pokémon causing end users getting banned as well. After doing a megaton of research on all these claims we are finally ready to report the findings.

Claim #3 All genned mon are hacked & IllegalMostly False – If a genner makes a mon that is clearly hacked and cannot be caught using in game methods then this would be an impossible combination and Sword & Shield already placed blocks on them from being traded and used online. Hacking a Pokémon makes its values completely outside of the scope of what is possible. Using PKHeX properly will NEVER result in a ban. Just changing a few values and making copies of Pokémon will NEVER get you banned. Regardless of what your favorite YouTuber or forum says, making unreleased / shiny locked mon will result in a ban.

Pokemon Size Will Affect How You Walk Your Pokemon

Although there will likely be more uses for size than just walking your Pokemon, Pokemon Go does mention size in its buddy coding, Pokemon Go Hub reported.

The code has a section called BuddySize and refers to BUDDY_MEDIUM, BUDDY_SHOULDER, BUDDY_BIG, and BUDDY_FLYING. This likely indicates that when youre walking your Pokemon, the animation may show a Pokemon flying next to you or a very tiny Pokemon riding on your shoulder.

Where To Find The Sachet And Whipped Dream Item To Evolve Spritzee And Swirlix In Pokmon Sword And Shield

Prepare to wait for the late game.

If you plan to evolve Spritzee and Swirlix in Pokémon Sword and Shield, youll need to acquire two important items to begin the process.

These items are, of course, the Sachet and Whipped Dream, respectively. Both of them can be acquired in the same place. Just dont expect to be able to get any of them until after you finish the main story, though.

You can find a lady in the Pokémon Center in central Hammerlocke whos selling both items for 10 BP each. You can only get BP from competing in the Battle Tower, which only unlocks after becoming the Champion of the region.

Once you do get the BP you need, though, its a simple case of giving both of these items to your Pokémon to hold and then finding a friend to trade with. When you trade these Pokémon holding the items, Swirlix will evolve into Swirlpuff and Spritzee will evolve into Aromatisse.

You then just need to trade them back to have your new Pokémon added to your ever-growing Pokédex.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon

Sylveon was introduced with a pretty tough evolution task, which will be much easier during Eevee Community Day. However, during Community Day weekend you will be able to evolve Eevee into Sylveon with only 7 buddy hearts, so try to take advantage. You can only earn a certain number of hearts per type each day, so check the Buddy menu to see what you can do to get a few Eevee ready before or during the event.

And thats how to evolve Eevee into all evolutions in Pokémon GO, focusing on Eevee Community Day in August 2021.
