HOW TO GET ALL FORMS OF EEVEE EVOLUTIONS – EEVEE EVOLUTION TRICKS INCLUDING SYLVEON | POKÉMON GO

Gen 4 Leafeon and Glaceon have a second evolution method, using the Mossy Bait Module or the Glacial Bait Module, respectively. When you are near that PokéStop with the Bait Module activated, go to your Eevee and choose the evolution.

On the other hand, Gen 2 Umbreon and Espeon also have a second evolution method. Walk with your Eevee as a companion for ten kilometers and make it evolve overnight or day and it will transform into the desired evolution.

Note that you have to walk exactly 10 kilometers and get two Candies in the process, and then keep Eevee as a companion when it evolves and make it day or night in the game for it to work .

Generation I Pokemon Gets Long Community Day

As per usual through Community Days, Eevee will have a high encounter rate and, therefore, the chances of stumbling upon a shiny version will be increased. Given the length of the event, trainers can seriously rack up a high amount of Eevee encounters in this time frame.

Of course, some trainers might be luckier than others and end up finding a shiny Eevee in no time at all.

According to The Silph Road, only 1 out of every 25 encounters during a Community Day will be a shiny of the featured Pokemon. Therefore, any trainer who is looking to only pick up one shiny should be prepared for at least 25 encounters.

Since it has so many options for evolution, trainers would be smart to catch as many shiny Eevees as they possibly can. The grand majority of these evolutions are at least serviceable Pokemon with good stats.

In fact, as part of the Community Day, each evolution of Eevee is receiving a new charge move. Some of these moves make the Pokemon way more viable.

The moves and which Pokemon get them are as follows:

Kanto Starters Event Costumes In Pokmon Go

Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle – the Kanto, and most well known, starter Pokémon in the franchise. Thanks to this special status, the Gen 1 starters have been given a number of special costumes in Pokémon Go.

For Squirtle this includes a pair of sunglasses, which is reference to the Squirtle Squad from the Pokémon anime.

The clone versions of the final evolutions for the Gen 1 starters – Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise – are a reference to Pokemon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back, in which these three Pokémon, among others, are cloned by Mewtwo.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Umbreon And Espeon In Pokemon Go

How to Evolve Eevee in Pokemon Go

If youre looking to get yourself multiple Umbreon and Espeon, using the nickname trick isnt going to be enough. As such, youll need to know how outside of that youll be able to evolve Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon.

First off, youll need to make the Eevee that youre wanting to evolve your Buddy Pokemon. This can be done by simply clicking on your avatar in the bottom left corner of the screen and then selecting your current buddy Pokemon or tapping next to your character. Then, select Eevee from the list of Pokemon and youre all set.

You then need to walk 10km with your Eevee until you get at two Eevee candy. During this time, you cannot switch your Buddy Eevee out for another Pokemon, otherwise all of your progress towards building your friendship with it will be wiped. Once youve racked up the two Candy and walked 10km with your Eevee, simply keep it as your Buddy Pokemon and be ready to evolve it.

If you want to evolve Eevee into Umbreon, you want to evolve it at nighttime when the game screen is dark and everywhere looks gloomy. If you want to evolve Eevee into Espeon in Pokemon GO, youll want it to be all bright and blue-skied in Pokemon GO. How Do You Evolve Sylveon In Pokemon Go

Sylveon, Eevee’s Fairy type evolution, has finally made its Pokemon Go debut. The next and final Eeveelution was unlocked on May 25, 2021.

In the core games, Sylveon has had two different means of evolution, Affection in the Pokemon X and Y, and Friendship combined with a Fairy type move in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Since neither mechanic exists in Pokemon Go, Niantic is instead using Pokemon Go Buddy Adventure in order to evolve Sylveon. Trainers must earn 70 hearts with Eevee as their Buddy Pokemon to evolve a Sylveon!

Generation Iv Eevee Evolutions: Leafeon And Glaceon

Pokemon Go Eevee Evolutions How-To Guide

Getting a Leafeon or a Glaceon involves Lure Modules. These are special items that you can use on PokéStops to get more wild Pokémon to appear. They come in different types and each one of them attracts specific types of Pokémon.

For Eevee to evolve into Leafeon, youll need a Mossy Lure, and as for Glaceon, youll need a Glacial Lure. You can purchase both of these items from the shop for 200 PokéCoins each. Once you have the Lure Module for the Eevee evolution you want, go to a PokéStop with the Mossy or Glacial Lure activated, and spin the PokéStop. Then, tap on the Pokéball icon at the bottom of your screen, and go to Pokémon. Select the Eevee that you want to evolve into Leafeon or Glaceon. Before tapping on the Evolve button, check the silhouette on it to make sure that youre going to get the Eevee evolution youre aiming for.

How To Use The Eevee Evolution Nickname Trick In Pokemon Go

First off, make sure that youve got an Eevee and the 25 Candy that youll need to evolve it. Once you do, simply tap on it from your list of Pokemon and then tap the pencil icon just next to its name. You can now nickname your Eevee whatever you want.

As great as an Eevee called Jebediah would be, wed suggest using one of the above nicknames to net yourself the Eevee evolution you want. Once youve done that, simply tap the Evolve option when viewing that particular mon. After the evolution cutscene has finished, you should be left staring at the Eevee evolution that you wanted.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon And Umbreon

Espeon and Umbreon do have a secondary means of securing their evolutions, though it takes a little more effort than a simple name change or purchasing a Lure Module.

This method is probably the most involved of all but if your heart is set then itll be worth it. For these Generation 2 evolutions, you have to set your Eevee as your buddy and have it walk with you for 10km in order to earn two candies .

Once thats done, you can evolve your Eevee, but the time of day shown in-game will determine which of the evolutions you get. Evolve Eevee during the day and youll get the Psychic-type Espeon. At night, on the other hand, youll get the Dark-type Umbreon.

This trick can be somewhat finicky, so do make sure that Eevee is still your buddy when you evolve it and ensure that you have GPS signal so that the game has the time of day absolutely right where you are. Fortunately, this isnt limited like the nicknames so you can do it as often as you like .

How To Evolve Multiple Umbreons And Espeons

A second method of evolving Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon exists, and it’s surprisingly easy. Simply make Eevee your buddy Pokémon and walk 10km. You can then evolve your Eevee at night to unlock Umbreon, or during the day for Espeon. You can easily tell if it’s day or night by looking at the colour of your map or listening to the game’s music, but ensure that you have good signal before evolving – the game needs to know the time of day in your exact location and if your signal drops at the wrong moment, you’ll get a Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon no matter how far you’ve walked.

Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon

Eevee Evolutions

Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.

Meanwhile, Gen 2’s Umbreon and Espeon also have a second Eevee evolution method. Walk your Eevee as a Buddy for 10km, then evolve it either during the night or day and it’ll turn into the desired evolution.

Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .

Since the naming trick only works once per evolution type, this appears to be a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.

How To Get Espeon And Umbreon In Pokemon Go

For Espeon and Umbreon, the two Gen 2 Eeveelutions, there is a method to obtaining each. Simply add Eevee as your buddy and have it walk with you for 10km. Once that requirement is complete, evolve your Eevee during the day for Espeon and at night for Umbreon. Be careful, however, as sometimes Pokemon Go doesnt reflect night and day like in real life. Check the color of the sky in-game to make sure it is nighttime where you are before evolving.

How To Evolve Sylveon In Pokemon Go

For Sylveon, youll need to make Eevee your Buddy again, just like Espeon and Umbreon. Though this time, its not about walking distance, its about how many hearts youve earned.

After getting the Normal-type Eevee to Best Buddy status, you should be able to transform it into the Fairy-type Sylveon. This is no easy feat, however, so prepare to spend some time on it.

So, there you have it thats everything you need to know about how to evolve Eevee in Pokemon Go!

Naming Tricks For All Of The Eevee Evolutions

Generally, it costs 25 Candy to evolve Eevee. However, with eight different possibilities, you might wonder how to guarantee a specific Eevee evolution. One way is to change Eevees name into one of the following:

Eevee Evolution
Sylveon Kira

Fun fact: these Eevee evolutions arent just assigned random nicknames. These names are based on some characters in the anime or the core games. The nicknames for Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon are the names of the three eldest Eevee brothers: Rainer, Sparky, and Pyro. Rainers signature Pokémon is Vaporeon, Sparkys is Jolteon, and Pyros is Flareon. Sakura and Tamao are two of the five Kimono sisters who appear in Troubles Brewing theyre the trainers of Espeon and Umbreon, respectively. Linnea, Rea, and Kira are Leafeons, Glaceons, and Sylveons respective Pokémon Sun and Moon trainers. Theyre three of the eight trainers you have to beat to get the Eevee Z-Crystal in the game.

To rename Eevee, simply tap on the Pokéball icon at the bottom center of the screen, then on Pokémon, and select the Eevee you want to evolve. After that, tap on the pen icon beside Eevees name, and type in the nickname of the Eevee evolution you want to get.

Pokmon Go Cp Explained: What Is Cp And How Is Cp Calculated

CP, or Combat Points, is a measure of how strong your Pokémon will be in battle against another Pokémon, and is actually a combination of several hidden stats. Each Pokémon in Pokémon Go has a set of Base Stats for Attack, Defence, and Stamina, along with a hidden Level and a hidden modifier for those Base Stats, known as a Pokémon’s IVs.

It’s not worth going into too much detail on how all of those stats work but they can essentially be explained with a nice little analogy about dogs:

Greyhounds, often used for dog racing, are a naturally fast breed of dog. Bulldogs, not so fast. Just like Greyhounds are naturally speedy, Dragonites, as a Pokémon species, have naturally high Attack – or, in other words, a naturally high Base Stat for Attack – contrast that with Machokes which, despite having decent Attack, are somewhat puny by comparison.

However, every now and then you might get a Greyhound that is so slow, and a Bulldog that is so fast, that out of these two individual dogs the Bulldog is actually faster.

So, in Pokémon Go, you might get such a naturally low-Attack Dragonite, and naturally high-Attack Machoke, that you’ll hit the point where the Machoke actually has a higher overall Attack than the Dragonite. That’s because the Individual Values of the Machoke – basically its genes – are considerably stronger than those of the Dragonite.

Eevee Evolutions: How To Evolve Into Sylveon Glaceon Leafeon Umbreon Espeon Vaporeon Flareon And Jolteon In Pokemon Go

Eevee Evolution is meant to be a random process in Pokemon Go. Once you press evolve on an Eevee, you have a random chance of getting one of the original three eeveelutions. The others can be obtained through other means, all of which require a bit of effort. There’s also some useful shortcuts and cheats of a sort to get around the random factor. We’ll detail all of that below.

There’s seven Eevee Evolutions in the game so far. Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon from generation 1 are completely down to random chance. Umbreon and Espeon from generation 2 and Leafeon and Glaceon from generation 3 are obtained in specific ways. The final Eevee Evolution is Sylveon, from generation 6, and it was finally added to the game in May 2021.

So, which Eevee Evolution do you want? You’ll want to carefully consider this – each evolved form of Eevee is a different type, so you’ll want to consider strengths and weaknesses with our Pokemon Go Type Chart, at least. Plus which you think is cutest.
