Okay I Have A Buddy Now What
Go for walks! No, really, now that you have a designated Buddy you should go on strolls. Similar to egg-hatching, you can gain Candy for your buddy the more kilometers you rack up. Interestingly, different Pokemon require you walk different distances. For example, you need to walk 3 kilometers before you get a Candy for Slowpoke. You only get one candy after walking that specific distance, though. You can find out more about your Buddy’s progress by tapping the Trainer profile icon, then tapping the top of the screen, where your Trainer and Buddy are hanging out. At the top of the screen you’ll see the total distance traveled. In the middle, you’ll see your Buddy . At the bottom, there’s a gauge that shows how far you still need to walk for a Candy.
The Best Way To Get Candy In Pokmon Go
As updates go on for the game, more and more methods of getting Candy exist, so it’s worth keeping them all in mind as you play. It is, after all, one of the more difficult resources to collect.
The best way is, unfortunately, through grinding out those catches.
You’ll get three Candy per Pokémon that you catch, and as part of the Gen 2 update, second and third tier evolutions will now give out more Candy in the wild compared to their first evolution counterparts, increasing from 3 Candy to 5 and 10 respectively.
It’s worth noting that, now and again, seasonal updates look to increase the rates of some drops, such as Candy during Pokémon Go’s Halloween event, so be sure to keep an eye on game updates to increase your stock.
Get extra Candy from using Berries in battle
As part of the Gen 2 Pokémon update, new Berries were added, introducing new effects when encountering wild Pokémon. One of these is the Pinap Berries, which will double the amount of Candy you receive if your next catch attempt succeeds.

How To Get More Rare Candy In Pokmon Go
Generally, PokéStops are the one common spot for all consumables in Pokémon Go. For Rare Candies, though, youll need to look somewhere else.
They are usually awarded for completing raids. Going through raids is one of the most consistent ways of obtaining more Rare Candy. Theres a Raid type for all difficulty levels, and you may even have some Rare Candy stacked from your old Raid runs.
Considering Raids are available all year, theyll be the most reliable way of obtaining Rare Candies. Alternatively, you can also check out the list of available Special Research and Time Research Tasks to see if theres one that rewards players with Rare Candy. These tasks usually appear during events and most should be completed before the event wraps up.
If youre looking to make the most amount of Rare Candy, you may want to consider only using them for legendary Pokémon and those you just cant collect Candy for. This way, youll only consume your Rare Candies whenever you need them the most and you should always have a stack waiting for your next evolve from Raiding.

Want The Best Of The Best Pay Attention To Ivs
Having a tough time battling gyms? Well, Reddit user Kyurun figured out how to guarantee your evolved Pokemon will have over 1,000 CP. Turns out, your unevolved ‘Mon needs to have a minimum amount of CP before it can evolve. Refer to the handy chart above to find what those numbers are! It’s not exact, however. You may evolve a Raichu with a CP number outside of the predicted range. For more accurate results, you’ll have to pay attention to your Pokemon’s IVs
How To Evolve Pokemon Fast In Pokemon Go
The best strategy for evolving a species is to continue capturing Pokémon of the same type. This works well with common Pokémon types such as Pidgey, Weedle, or Caterpie, as their evolution costs are much cheaper than other species. Accumulate as much Candy as you can from captures, and if you need a bit of extra Candy, trade in the weaklings to bolster your supply. Once you have enough Candy to evolve a species multiple times, start evolving the ones with the highest CP. Use a Lucky Egg beforehand to maximize your XP bonus for evolving each creature.

After that, if you’re determined enough, it’s just a matter of camping on a Pokestop, spinning it to get new tasks, deleting the ones that don’t give Rare Candy, and repeating.

Rare Candy How Do You Get It
Finally, the most recurrent question: how do you get rare candies? Actually, it is not very complicated, but the most effective and tangible methods are three. The first, the weekly research tasks. It is not certain that we will get rare candies with the weekly rewards, but it is frequent. Another method is the Trainer Bouts, but it is the least effective. At least in our case, they rarely give us a considerable amount of this type of candy.
The best, however, are the raids Above all, those of Level 5. In them we can obtain up to 3 with ease, so do not hesitate to take advantage of each confrontation with the daily pass to add little by little and have, if you do it well, at least a score of rare candies .
Finally, the method by which we particularly achieve the most: the rewards of Sincroaventura. If you walk 50 km weekly, one of the rewards is 5 additional rare candies.

Pokemon Go: How To Get More Charmander Candy
Get that Charizard.
Charizard is one of the rarest and strongest Pokemon in Pokemon GO, making it easily one of the most sought after. He can be seen in the wild, albeit rare, but by increasing the amount of Charmander Candy you have and evolving the basic Pokemon, you can add him to your collection.
You will need to evolve Charmander into Charmeleon, and then the latter into Charizard. For this you will need a good deal of Charmander Candy. There are three simple ways to get more Charmander candy.
First of all, you should catch as many Charmander as possible. If you know where to find them, go there and catch as many as you can because each one you catch will give you three candies. Fire types dont seem to inhabit any one area over another the way water and grass types do, so keep your search wide.
Secondly, if you have caught a lot of Charmanders or Charmeleons, you can transfer them to the Professor and get one Charmander Candy for each. Do this with all but one of each Pokemon to get as many candies as possible from transferring, whilst leaving yourself Pokemon to evolve.
Finally, you can hope to find Charmanders in two kilometer eggs. Eggs will often award you Candy along with a Pokemon, so keep incubating those eggs and keep walking.

This is a fairly passive action in relation to collecting Meltans, but it’s a truth that carries over across all Pokemon media. Nintendo and, by extension, Niantic enjoy their promotional events that keep player attention focused on their games and keep people coming back.
There may yet be an event for Meltan and Melmetal on the horizon that we don’t know about. Heck, they may even put out an event to give a Melmetal to Sword and Shield. Both are easily within the realm of possibility.

There’s An Easier Way To Evolve Feebas For Pokmon Go’s ‘thousand Year Slumber’ Jirachi Quest
If you boot up Pokémon GO right now, you’ll get some special research. A Thousand Year Slumber is a new quest for you to complete, and at the end of the line you’ll be able to get your hands on Jirachi, the mythical creature that had previously. A lot of the quest is pretty straightforward, but there’s one task in step 2 that might cause people some trouble. Luckily, it’s about to get a lot easier to evolve a Feebas.
Feebas is likely to be a sticking point for most people. The ragged-looking little fish is very rare outside of events, and plenty of people that missed those events might be awfully short on the 100 candy required to evolve it. If you’re trying to manage that with the little fish as your buddy, that’s going to take you a minimum of 500 kilometers, minus whatever you got from catching it to begin with. That’s a whole lot to ask out of anyone, and would likely mean you’d be working on this thing for months if you’re not using rare candy or other bonuses.
So if you were busily making a spreadsheet about just how you were going to cover the several hundred kilometers required to evolve Feebas, just wait until tomorrow, August 23, and you should have a much simpler time of it.
There’s no way to get around the 20km you have to walk with your fishy friend, but that’s much more manageable than 500.
