How To Evolve Eevee Leafeon And Glaceon

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee – How to Get Articuno

Finally Eevee evolutions got even more confusing in Pokémon GO with the addition of Gen 4s Leafeon and Glaceon. This time youll need an item, or someone around you will need to use one that you can access. To evolve Eevee into Leafeon you need to be within range of a Poké Stop that has an active Mossy Lure on it. You can see this on the map with flying leaves surrounding it. Glaceon requires the Stop to instead have a Glacial Lure on it, which will display with swirling ice. Most players have gotten these for free from various events, but they can also be purchased from the shop for 200 Poké Coins a piece. Once you have one just use it on a Stop and evolve an Eevee while standing nearby.

And thats all Eevee evolutions and how to them them all in Pokémon GO. Sylveon may be added later, so check back for more when Gen 6 hits and after.

    How To Get Shiny Articuno

You can actually capture a shiny Articuno if you want, though, it will take immense time and patience. Don’t worry if the Articuno doesn’t appear shiny before you approach it as the game doesn’t determine if it’s shiny or not until you activate the initial cutscene.

So, you can simply save before approaching it and “soft reset” until you get the shiny Articuno. All you have to do for this is save before approaching, watch the initial cutscene, and see if it is shiny or not in battle. If it isn’t, all you need to do is head to the home screen on your Switch and close out of Pokemon Let’s Go.

Reopen the game, reload your save, and retry again and again until you finally get the chance to capture a shiny Articuno. Good luck!

How To Get To Seafoam Islands In Pokmon: Let’s Go

" SUPER QUICK SHINY ARTICUNO!" in Pokémon Let

Seafoam Islands is a location just off Route 20 east that houses one of the most devilishly difficult dungeons in Pokémon: Let’s Go. It’s a dungeon well worth conquering though, as you can get your grubby little mitts on an Articuno at the end of it.

We’d recommend that you have a solid few Rock, Fighting, Steel, or Fire Pokémon at level 50 so you stand the best chance of walking away with that Articuno.

Increasing The Chance Of Rare Spawns

There are two primary ways to increase the odds of encountering a rare spawn Pokemon. Firstly, use your lure, super lure and max lure items to increase the number of spawning Pokemon. Secondly, Pokemon Lets Go has introduced catch combos. Catch the same species of Pokemon consecutively to increase your catch combo. This will result in an increased chance of encountering that Pokemon again. We appreciate its a difficult task getting a catch combo with Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres though.

How To Rename Eevee To Evolve Into Sylveon Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon Espeon Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon

Evolving Eevee using the required 25 Eevee candy will produce a random evolution. However, you can control which type it turns into by renaming the monster beforehand:

    • Rename Kira to evolve into Fairy-type Sylveon
    • Rename Linnea to evolve into Grass-type Leafeon
    • Rename Rea to evolve into Ice-type Glaceon
    • Rename Sakura to evolve into Psychic-type Espeon
    • Rename Tamao to evolve into Dark-type Umbreon
    • Rename Rainer to evolve into Water-type Vaporeon
    • Rename Sparky to evolve into Electric-type Jolteon
    • Rename Pyro to evolve into Fire-type Flareon

There are some caveats here. This only works one time per evolution, so if you plan to use your Eeveelution in battle, make sure youve chosen an Eevee with favourable stats. The naming trick is currently the only guaranteed way to evolve Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon once youve done it once, itll be up to random chance if you get another, regardless of what youve named it.

There are tricks to reliably evolving the other Eevee varieties more than once, though

What To Do If The Legendary Birds Escape

If your team is not up to the challenge or you run out of time before you defeat one of the birds, they will flee from battle and you will not be able to catch them.

But if you beat the Elite Four and become the new Pokemon Champion, the escaped bird will respond in its old location, giving you more chance to catch it.

As a bonus, once you defeat the Elite Four there is a slight chance of the three legendaries, albeit much weaker, spawning in the wild.

    • Pair your Pokeball Plus Controller and select it as your primary controller for playing.
    • Choose “Comunications” and then “Mystery Gift” from the menu.
    • Choose “From Pokeball Plus”.

We did say a legendary Pokemon needs to be rare and they dont come any rare than these four

They were so rare than back in the days of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow that you had one opportunity to catch them! Thats right, one! If you spent over 24 hours on a game, found Mewtwo and failed to capture it for whatever reason that was your once chance gone!

Hopefully most of you saved the game before battling these legends.

    How To Catch Moltres

Last up is Moltres, the fire bird. This hothead is located in Victory Road to the west of Viridian City specifically the caves leading up to the Elite Four. Victory Road is filled with puzzles and trainers that players must overcome, so they should use their best Pokemon and spend their hard-earned money on plenty of items before venturing into these caves. Just like Articuno and Zapdos, Moltres will be Level 50.

After all three legendary birds have been caught, they can be found flying over most routes in the game, but players will need to fly on the back of a Pokemon to reach them. They are specifically found on Routes 1-4, 6-8, 10-19, and 21-25. To get them, players will need to beat the Elite Four and then have Aerodactyl, Dragonite, or Charizard out of their Poke Ball to ride on. This allows players to soar in the sky to find these birds once more, and even get a chance at chaining for shiny versions of these powerful Pokemon that would make a great addition to any Pokemon team.

Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Pokemon Lets Go Eevee are available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

How To Earn The Articuno Zapdos & Moltres Master Titles In Pokmon: Lets Go Pikachu & Pokmon: Lets Go Eevee

Firstly, in order to become a Master of a specific Pokémon, you will need to have that Pokémon, so if you havent caught the likes of Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres yet, youre going to need to change that. If you have caught them though, you can always attempt to catch one in the wild, should you wish to attempt to get one with better IVs and stats.

The second step in attaining mastery over them, is to make them become powerful enough to impress their associated Master Trainers. This can be done via intense levelling up, in combination with feeding them with a lot of Candy, since each Legendary Bird Pokémon needs to have 7,500CP.

Once Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres have reached 7,500 CP, it is time to hunt down the Master Trainers who wish to see them, which in itself is an easy task. Although the Master Trainers are not in the direct area of where you discover each Legendary Bird Pokémon, they can be found in the vicinity.

Upon locating each Master Trainer, you will be required to have the required Pokémon in the top left slot of your party, and no, having them out of their Poké Ball will not help you. Upon meeting the requirements of each Master Trainer, a short one-sided discussion will take place and when it is over, you will be bequeathed the title associated with each Master Trainer.

Videos pertaining to each Master Trainer covered in this guide can be seen here:

    Tips To Defeat Articuno

Articuno is an Ice and Flying type Pokémon, so its main weaknesses and resistances are the following:

Weak against: Rock, Fire, Electric and Steel.

Resistant to: Bug, Plant and Earth.

Of course, we recommend avoiding facing him with Pokémon that he is resistant to.

If you want to ensure its capture, we recommend using one of the pokémon that we will tell you below, as they are its best counters:

    • Tyranitar: Antiaircraft + Sharpened Rock.
    • Blissey: Destroyer + Hyper Beam.
    • Heatran: Fire Spin + Sharp Rock.

If you are going to face Articuno de Blanche, the wisdom team leader, then we recommend you visit our entry on how to defeat team leaders in Pokémon GO.

The Pokémon: Lets Go Pikachu! and Pokémon: Lets Go Eevee! games have provided a great deal of fun and nostalgia for Pokémon fans across the globe. Being able to collect, catch, train, and compete with others is easier than ever in glorious high-definition on Nintendo’s latest console, the Switch.

Of course, Pokémon come in a variety of rarities. While some are so common you may encounter thousands of them in your playthrough, others need a great deal of time and effort to track down. In addition, some Pokémon can only be found in one place, and there is only one of them in the whole game. The three legendary birds of the original 151 Pokémon are Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, mighty beings of ice, lightning, and fire, respectively.

‘pokmon Let’s Go’ Legendaries: How To Catch Mewtwo Moltres Zapdos And Articuno

Legendary Pokémon are some of the most powerful in the series, and Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee are no exception. And in the Kanto Region, there are four Legendaries that trainers will want to try and catch to bolster their team to fight NPCs and friends online.

The four Legendary Pokémon of Kanto are Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos and the mysterious Mewtwo.

In Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, catching Legendary Pokémon is different from your run-of-the-mill Pidgey, you’ll actually have to battle them. Each encounter gives trainers five minutes to take down the Legendary Pokémon before you get to the catching stage. The Legendary Pokémon will also have all their stats raised to make it even harder.

This part is similar to the rest of your capture attempts, albeit much more difficult with the catch rate lower than most other Pokémon. It’s unclear whether they can run away from you, but we suggest saving your progress before encountering them.

We also recommend talking to the Fortune Teller in Celadon City before trying to capture the Legendary Pokémon to get the Nature you desire.

Here’s where to find them and the best ways to catch them.

    HOW TO CATCH ZAPDOS

Before heading into battle, we recommend bringing a Rock and Ground-type Pokémon like the Onix, the Geodude or Rhyhorn line. Zapdos’ Thunderbolt won’t affect it and Drill Peck will be not very effective against them.

    Pokemon Lets Go Spawn Rates

Fortunately, although still rare, they arent quite as rare as the original Gameboy games. Once you capture the initial one time sightings of these Pokemon then they will become rare spawns in the wild. Were not talking 10% rare either, youll need to do some searching in order to come across them. Moreover, youll need to be flying on your own Pokemon. Mewtwo remains a one time seen Pokemon though.
