Pokemon Sword And Shield Price In India
With a release date of November 15, you can pre-order Pokemon Sword and Shield for Rs. 4,299 apiece viaGames The Shop and MCubeGames. While other sites and stores are yet to bother listing the Nintendo Switch exclusives, they should hopefully maintain the same price range. This is a welcome change from the ridiculous Rs. 4,999 price we saw for Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee, Super Mario Maker 2, and the soon to be released Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
With a Rs. 4,299 price, it puts Pokemon in the same league as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Death Stranding, and FIFA 20, all of which occupy the Rs. 3,999 to Rs. 4,499 range. And with most Switch owners having multiple consoles, the competitive day one price means that fans wont have to resort to the grey market, parallel imports, or digital downloads, all of which are around $60 . Reason being, this is, much like Super Mario Maker 2 and , an official listing with customers getting a bill and after sales support. The competitive pricing makes Pokemon Sword and Shield a day one option for the countrys many Pokemon fans.
What Old Legendaries Are Being Added To Sword And Shield
The pokemon above dont constitute the full confirmed list, as Nintendo has also alluded to new content in which players can battle and catch legendary pokemon from older games, such of which are returning in altered Galarian forms. Whether well also be able to get the original forms of them isnt yet specified, but weve listed here all the revealed legendaries.
Joel Franey/USgamer, Nintendo
Nintendo have also said that well be able to see some of these legendaries dynamaxing, though it remains unclear whether all of them will be able to do this, speaking cryptically of underground Pokemon Dens in the Crown Tundra where you can find and presumably catch them. The full list of confirmed legendaries is as follows:
Pokmon Sword Or Shield: Version
From the early days, the main difference between the Pokémon releases has been that one version will have Pokémon the other doesnt and vice versa. The same is still true for Sword and Shield.
For some players this wont make an iota of difference, but if you have a favorite creature that the game just isnt worth playing without, its worth making sure they wont be exclusive to a particular version before you make that Pokémon Sword or Shield decision. Its always possible to find someone to trade with if you have missed out and you can always buy both versions, if you want to but thats a bit of a rigmarole and can be avoided if you want an easier life.
Below are the version exclusive Pokémon for Sword and Shield, with their respective types.

How Do You Find Friends In The Y
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to trade or battle your friends in Pokemon Sword and Shield, as the friend mechanic from previous titles is completely absent. This can be worked around by both players choosing to set a password for their request, but even this isnt a guarantee as any random player who happens to input the same password could accidentally link instead. As of now, this has somewhat been alleviated as the password character count has increased from four to eight, but its still nowhere near as easy as it used to be.
Viral Pokemon Sword And Shield Fan Video Has A Game Boy Color Take On Galar
In 1999, Pokemon Gold and Silver released on Game Boy Color, and the sequel took great advantage of the Nintendo system’s color options. It was a big step up from the black and white visuals seen in the first Pokemon generation, and things have only gotten better over the years. However, those early days of the franchise still hold a lot of nostalgia for Pokemon fans, which is likely the reason @sindorman on Twitter decided to reimagine Pokemon Sword and Shield in a style similar to Gold and Silver! The pixel artist offered just a brief clip based on the Nintendo Switch game, but it’s very cool to see!
A clip of Sword and Shield reimagined as a Game Boy Color game can be found in the Tweet embedded below.

Sindorman says: my commissions are open!
It’s really cool to see how Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey look in this 8-bit style! There’s something really charming about how it all comes together, and clearly a lot of fans agree as of this writing, the Tweet above has received more than 39,000 likes! Interestingly enough, @sindorman’s video is not the first “demake” we’ve seen for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Last year, Japanese YouTuber Hayate Keiunji released his own 8-bit video based on the game, but done in a completely black and white style, meant to evoke Pokemon Red and Green.

Total: A Complete Pokedex With Forms
So, if we really want to count how many total Pokemon there are in terms of how many Pokemon have been created, we’ll have to consider different variants, Mega Evolutions, and more.
> Mega Evolution?
There are a few things that can complicate the answer to this question, though. Mega Evolutions are an enhanced version of a Pokemon and not technically a new Pokemon, but they are treated as such in many ways.
They look different, have different stats, often have different types and abilities, and are sometimes spoken of like they are their own species .
However, the change is only temporary and only occurs within battle.
> Regional Variants?
Another wrinkle is regional variants. While Kantonian and Galarian Meowth are both Meowth, they are different Pokemon, have different types and appearances, and evolve into different Pokemon.
But, Vivillon and Shellos both have different forms based on where they are caught , and these forms don’t count as regional variants .
> Purely Cosmetic Forms?
Speaking of appearance changes some Pokemon just look different based on various factors.
We’ve mentioned Vivillon, but its Gen VI friend Florges is another example, with different colors based on what flower its pre-evolution, Flabébé, formed an attachment with. Do these different forms that have no function beyond appearance make for a different Pokemon? Probably not, but it’s something to consider.

Who Was The First Pokmon
As simple of a question as this may seem, theres some debate about this within the community. Its largely because of misinformation and different interpretations of the word first.
The first Pokémon in the Pokédex is Bulbasaur. The first Pokémon ever designed and put into game data was Rhydon. In terms of lore, Arceus is of course the creator of the entire Pokéverse, so theres an argument there too. Mew though is considered to be the ancestor of all Pokémon.

How To Get The Currently Available Galarian Pokmon In Pokmon Go
Unlike the majority of Pokémon in Pokémon Go that can be found by simply exploring your local area, a number of the Galarian Pokémon can only be found using specific methods.
The full roster of Galarian Pokémon is also yet to be released in Pokémon Go, meaning that, while you may be able to catch certain Galar variants, you can’t complete your collection yet.
Currently, a number of Galarian Pokémon are in the 7km egg pool. These Pokémon are:

Pokmon Go Gen 8 Pokmon List
While the majority of Gen 8 evolutions in Pokémon Go will, like previous generations such as Gen 6, require a specific amount of candy, this generation is known for having a number of unique evolution methods.
We’ve already seen some of these methods with the exclusive Galarian form evolutions while some, such as Galarian Slowpoke, simply require candy, others involve fulfilling a specific requirement, such as winning 10 raids with Galarian Yamask as your buddy to evolve it into Runerigus.
It’s also important to note that a non-Galarian version of a Pokémon will not have the option to evolve into the specific Galarian evolution. This means, for example, you can’t evolve a Kanto Meowth into a Perrserker.
Aside from the Galarian forms, Pokémon like Applin or Sinistea require you to use specific items in Pokémon Sword and Shield to trigger their evolution. In Pokémon Go, this could be translated into the use of a stone, similar to the Sinnoh or Unova Stones, the trading mechanic or, possibly, a brand new mechanic. We’ll have to wait and see!

It can be easy to ignore the L and R buttons, but they have many functions that can make menu navigation much easier. Doing this on the map menu will also cycle through each town players have visited and can make it easier to find certain locations that can be fast travelled to.
