What Are Evolution Items In Pokmon Go

How To Get All Mega Stones – Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Eevee

Even the very first Pokémon games featured a handful of special case Pokémon who could only evolve with Evolution Items or other special methods. Even the most recognizable Pokémon out there, Pikachu requires an Evolution Item in the core Pokémon games. Pokémon Go has far fewer Evolution Items and special cases for Evolution than the core games, but there are a few.

The Evolution Items currently available in Pokémon Go:

If and when you get one, it’ll show up in your Items list alongside your Poké Balls, Potions, Lucky Eggs, etc.

How To Use The Metal Coat In Pokemon Go

The Metal Coat can be used on two different Pokemon too, and as you’d expect, they both turn into Steel types. If you evolve Scyther, you can obtain the snappy Scizor, while Onix the rock snake will turn into Steelix.

How To Get Unova And Sinnoh Stones In Pokmon Go

Better get to grinding if you want to evolve your Pokémon.

Certain Pokémon require different circumstances to be met before they can evolve, such as trading them, giving them an item, or even simply leveling them up through battle.

But in Pokémon Go, things are set up a little differently because you dont gain experience through battling or use items in the same way that you would in the main series of games.

Specifically, for Pokémon that originate from the Sinnoh or Unova regions, there are special regional stones that you can use to achieve those evolutions in combination with the typical Stardust usage. These items are called the Sinnoh Stone and Unova Stone, and they only work on Pokémon that are from these respective regions.

This is a simple mechanic that replaces the need for multiple stones and other items in the game, making it easy to obtain any special evolution. This works for stone evolutions like Roselia to Roserade, Pokémon that require a specific move to evolve like Piloswine to Mamoswine, and even held item trade evolutions like Electabuzz to Electivire.

But even though the mechanic is easy to use, the stones themselves are a little harder to come by then some of the more basic items in the game.

How To Defeat Sierra In Pokemon Go April 2021

While Sierras second and third choices might be one of many, she always uses the same Pokemon in combat. The Dark / Water guy, Carvanha, creates a challenging opponent, but knowing the right way to confront him will ensure his victory.

Generation III Pokemon are vulnerable to the use of pitchforks, beetles, electricity, grass and fighting.

The following are the best pocket monsters used to control Carvanha:

Machamp using Karate Chop and Dynamic Punch

Breloom using Counter and Seed Bomb

Electivire using Thunder Shock and Wild Charge

Once a player defeats Sierra Carvanha, they will have to be ready to attack against her Hipowdon, Porygon-Za or Mismagius.

If he chooses Hippowdon, the best Pokemon he will oppose are:

For Porygon-Z use:

Her Mismagius can be knocked out by:

After defeating Sierras second Pokemon, there is only one left to deal with before a player can claim victory. The third potential Pokemon leader of Team GO Rocket includes Houndoom, Flygon and Walrein.

Against Houndoom, send one of these Pokemon:

When faced with a Flygon battle using:

  • Mamoswine
  • Weavile

Sierra Walrein is best opposed by:

Pokemon GO players have nothing to fear as they fight Team GO Rocket leader Sierra as long as they know the real opportunities they have in their team before they go into battle.

Using the advantage of the type will allow the trainer to easily defeat Sierra Carvanha and the other two Pokemon she decided to send.

How To Get Special Items In Pokmon Go

There are a few different ways that you can get special items like Kings Rock, Metal Coat, Dragon Scale, Up-Grade, Sun Stone, Unova Stone, and Sinnoh Stone in Pokémon Go. Its important to note that they are all obtained the same way, so until Niantic changes this, there are no special methods for acquiring specific evolutionary items. Here are the best options for getting these super-rare items.

PokeStops

The original method of gaining special items like Metal Coat and Dragon Scales. Any PokeStop has a chance of dropping a Gen 2 evolution item when spun, but chances are incredibly slim. Extra methods added over time have made this a little less of a headache, but if you absolutely need Gen 2 evolution items, heading into a dense PokeStop area like a town or city will help speed things up.

Gifts

Another way to get special items in Pokémon Go is through gifts. Gifts are items that players can send to and receive from friends, as well as through PokeStops. Gifts are like a free PokeStop, offering rewards like special items. If you have one of these, be sure to send them to your friends and maybe youll get one in return.

Field Research

Every once in a while a new Field Research task might contain a special item. These could be “Battle X number of Gyms” or “Walk 10 kilometers.” Field Research rewards are always the same for each individual mission objective, so its worth checking out a compendium online to see which you should be looking out for.

How To Use The Dragon Scale In Pokemon Go

The good news is that you can only use your Dragon Scale on one specific Pokemon but youre going to want to take a trip to the seaside or your nearest river. Combo up the Dragon Scale with 100 Horsea candies to evolve Seadra into Kingdra.

The Pokémon Go library of available Pokémon is consistently growing as time goes by. What started as a game with only the original pocket monsters has grown to include many of the generations of Pokémon introduced in the games since the early days. With that, there are new ways to evolve your Pokémon.

Sinnoh Stones in Pokémon Go are used for advancing your generation one or two Pokémon into their final forms first introduced during the generation four games, Diamond and Pearl. You can get Sinnoh Stones by defeating Team Go Rocket leaders, completing PvP battles, and completing the seventh day of Field Research. Here are all of the Pokémon you can evolve with that Sinnoh Stone.

For all of the Pokémon below, even if you have a Sinnoh Stone in your item inventory, you will need to gather at least 100 candy for the evolutionary line you are trying to advance. The stone alone will not work. The first name is the Pokémon you give the stone to, with the second name being their evolved form.

How To Evolve Sunkern Into Sunflora

In order to evolve your Sunkern intoSunflora, you will need to havea Sun Stone with you in your bags. You will also need to have all 50 candy, in the same way as with a normal evolution.

On your Sunkern pokémon’s screen, select theevolution through the usual in-game menu. The Sun Stone and candywill be consumed, and you’ll have a newSunflora with hopefully all the right moves.

In Pokémon GO, evolving Sunkern intoSunflora is a lot simpler than some of theother Pokémon games which required your Pokémon to also be tradedto another player for the evolution to take place.

Which Pokemon Can Evolve With Sun Stone

There are two Pokemon that can evolve with the Sun Stone in Pokemon GO. They are Sunkern and Gloom. The easiest Pokemon to evolve with the Sun Stone is Sunkern, as it only requires 50 candies along with the Sun Stone to evolve it into Sunflora. So you have to focus on obtaining that particular Pokemon first. Gloom is a bit more difficult to evolve into Bellossom for a couple of reasons. First, the Bellossom evolution demands you to collect 100 Oddish candies in addition to the Sun Stone. Second, if you are trying to collect all the Pokemon, then you’ll also need to take into account that it costs 100 Oddish candies to evolve Gloom into its other evolved form, Vileplume. So youll need to decide which Pokemon you want to obtain first, as both require a serious grind for candy. The best way to obtain Oddish and Sunkern candy is to use traditional methods. You can hatch them from eggs and catch them in the wild to obtain candy as fast as possible. It will still take a while for you to earn enough candy to obtain both Bellossom and Vileplume, but the effort should be well worth it if you want to catch all of them.

Ease Of Finding Unova Stones

As you may have realized by now, there is only one official and one unofficial but alternative method of obtaining a Unova Stone in Pokémon Go. Both ways are not easy or fast and none guarantees that you will get a Unova Stone as a reward. This means that it will probably take you some time to complete your Pokedex in the Unova region of Pokémon Go. You will need a lot of patience, perseverance, and luck to stick to the methods and reap the rewards.

How To Get Mega Energy In Pokmon Go

Mega Energy is specific to each individual Pokémon – similar to how Candy works in the game. So if you want to Mega Evolve a Bulbasaur into Mega Bulbasaur, you need Bulbasaur Mega Energy.

Mega Energy is primarily found from completing Mega Raids, a type of Raid encounter featuring Mega Pokémon. The faster you win a Mega Raid, the more Mega Energy you receive and this amount was then increased in September 2020 thanks to feedback from players.

It’s also been confirmed as a reward in certain Special Research rewards you can receive Mega Energy for Beedrill, for example, by completing ‘A Mega Discovery’. Since Mega Energy is specific to each type of Pokémon, we suspect there will be more ways to get Mega Energy over time as they rotate in and out of Raids – though that is speculation on our part.

On Thursday, 3rd September 2020, Niantic announced that it was working on a number of adjustments to improve how Mega Energy is earned in Pokémon Go. These new Mega Energy earning methods include:

  • Additional ways to earn Mega Energy from research tasks
  • Walking with your buddy

Niantic also announced that it was working on an adjustment that would allow you to earn bonus Candy when you caught a Pokémon that shared the same type as your Mega-Evolved Pokémon.
